Mom and dad have officially booked there flights to come hang out with Baby Charlie 👏🏽🎀😍
•
One of the hardest parts of living abroad pregnant is BY FAR not being around your loved ones.
•
It is almost unimaginable to me that my very best friends in the world and my sisters will not see me pregnant IRL.
•
I feel so blessed that my mom and dad will at least will be with us during the first precious moments of Charlie’s life.

Something exciting happened ✨

For those of you that don’t know I started a little passion project in @hashtagvolleyballgoals almost two years ago now.
•
The group/page/project started as a resource for players in the states to learn more about life abroad.
•
This summer I got the opportunity to chat with @jacolbygilliam with @9inepoint on my journey with professional volleyball and my project @hashtagvolleyballgoals
•
It was such a fun conversation about my personal story and experience getting abroad and it shows my passion for sharing the world of overseas volleyball with girls in the US.

At the ripe age of dang near 30 i’m officially ready to announce to the world and to my family & friends that I am a retired volleyball player 😱
•
Not gonna lie, saying that aloud makes me a little sick...
•
For those of you that know me you know that playing volleyball is my L I F E.
•
I’ve pursued volleyball as an athlete for MORE than half og my life now and really what is IJ doing if not off playing volleyball somewhere in the world.
•
No I didn’t have a career ending injury, no I didnt have 0 options to continue playing, no my hubby isn’t forcing me to stop (quite the opposite).
•
At this time in my life I just feel ready.
•
✨Ready to pursue my virtual assistant business full time.
•
✨ Ready to share my passion and knowledge of the game with others.
•
✨Ready to help girls in the US ACHING to play professionally that it is possible for them through @hashtagvolleyballgoals.
•
I’m ready to discover more about what makes me, me outside of being a great volleyball player.
•
I’m ready for the future and what it may hold, in all its goodness with maybe a sprinkle of sand 😉

O N E M O R E W E E K.

Until the Moronu Alstrups move into our new apartment!

We’ve now been in Copenhagen for one month and still don’t feel completely settled but one week from today Chris and I will be moving in together for the first time ever!

This is our first home together and this is the first time in our 4 years I’ll be decorating my own space AND Chris’ first time out of his parents home! So many firsts.

SO tell me, what are some things I should be aware of my first time living with a boy!
