A very full cup. Fields of radicchio. Food and food for thought. And an amaro (or two) later.

Old friends, new connections, a deepened appreciation for the farmers doing the hard work of growing good food and a necessary reminder that transforming our food systems takes so much more than paperwork - it requires full participation of us all.

Thank you for this truly glorious day Malaika @rootstoriverfarm chef @iknauer and the whole @farmtopeople team for making this happen ✨❤️

🌾2026 DEMO KITCHEN @ GOOD FOOD FEST🌾

🥛 1:30pm - Fresh Ricotta Cheesemaking with Ian Knauer of @rootstoriverfarm @amarakitchenandtastingroom

Discover the surprisingly simple process of making fresh ricotta at home with chef, cookbook author, and television host Ian Knauer. Using just a handful of ingredients, Ian will demonstrate how to transform milk and cream into delicate, homemade ricotta. He'll also share his technique for salt-roasting beets, showing how simple preparations can bring out incredible flavor in seasonal ingredients.

Nestled in the heart of Bucks County, PA, @rootstoriverfarm is dedicated to sustainable, organic farming and celebrated for growing vibrant, high-quality vegetables. Established in 2013 as New Hope's first CSA farm, Roots to River supplies fresh produce to its CSA members, local restaurants, and for its cooking classes and dinners.
Ian Knauer is the visionary behind @amarakitchenandtastingroom. He developed his craft during nearly a decade in the world-renowned test kitchens of Gourmet Magazine before returning to his family's farm in Pennsylvania. There, he authored the cookbook The Farm: Rustic Recipes for a Year of Incredible Food and created the series The Farm, available on PBS and Amazon Prime.

The 2026 Demo Kitchen is presented by our friends @chestercountyfoodbank. While the Demo Kitchen is FREE to enter, CCFB will be accepting donations to support their efforts to ensure access to nutritious and familiar food throughout our community.

There’s this concept of the “tavolata” in Italian that essentially describes a long table and the group that gathers around it to eat, drink, talk and celebrate.

The Bellemille dinner with @centralstem at @amarakitchenandtastingroom was just that. The physical embodiment of everything Bellemille stands for: a long table of people who started as strangers and became friends throughout the night, plates passed, wine aplenty, and ingredients grown and raised just down the road from where the dinner took place.

Not to mention that @hollybeaadair from Central Stem set the gorgeous table with pieces that felt considered down to the last fork.

This is exactly why I started Bellemille. Good food, good people, and a table that no one wants to leave.

Join us for an intimate summer dinner celebrating flavors straight from the farm and olive oil from the Tuscan hills. 💚

On July 24, Chef @iknauer of @amarakitchenandtastingroom will transform peak-season produce from @rootstoriverfarm into a thoughtfully curated multi-course menu, with each dish highlighting the richness of @bellemilleitaly Olive Oil and the debut of Bellemille Truffle Salt.

Our first collaboration, Pressed & Poured, sparked a desire to gather again—this time around the dinner table. Together, we’re bringing a taste of Tuscany to Pennsylvania through seasonal ingredients, exceptional olive oil, and the joy of sharing a meal.

Guests will also enjoy a curated @centralstem pop-up featuring artisan goods experienced throughout the evening, along with the opportunity to shop @bellemilleitaly products to take home.
