Some people enter your life quietly… and somewhere along the way, you realize you can’t remember your family without them in it. ❤️

Six years ago, Ilan came into Shay’s life… and before long, into all of ours. I’ve had the privilege of watching a young love grow roots… becoming steadier, deeper, and somehow even more affectionate with time. Even after all these years, the two of you are still completely drawn to each other… and there is something so beautiful about that.

Ilan… the way you love my girl shows up in the little things. You notice. You remind her every day how beautiful she is and how much she’s worth. You show up. You look out for her. And somewhere along the way, you started looking out for all of us too.

You stepped right into our world of horses, dogs, chaos, constant motion, big personalities, and some very hard seasons… and you stayed. Quietly, consistently, lovingly… you became part of us.

There was a time in the beginning when Camdyn worried you were taking her sister away. She could feel the pull Shay had toward you. But you never took her away… you simply made our family bigger and added more love and laughter to it.

And today, in Paris… your hometown… you asked my girl to marry you. I can’t imagine anything more perfect.

The truth is, Ilan… you’ve been family since that very first date when you showed up with flowers for Shay… and flowers for me.

You had me at hello. ❤️

And Shay… my girl. I am so incredibly proud of you. I’ve watched you pour your heart into this love too… choosing him, growing beside him, learning each other, and building something strong enough to hold both of you exactly as you are.

There is something indescribable about watching your daughter be loved so deeply… and just as beautiful about watching the woman she becomes as she loves someone deeply in return.

I hope you always keep choosing each other… laughing together… holding tightly to each other… reaching for one another the way you still do… and finding your way back to each other through every season life gives you.

I cannot wait to see where this life takes you both.

My girl said yes to her guy… and my heart is so full. ❤️💍🇫🇷
