I love my friends who came + I also had Sydney friends who came don for fashion week and went out their way to fight for tickets to the show despite it being sold out ! ARGH LOVE YALL

Full circle moment bumping into them, KYLAH OWO was the first fashion campaign they shot, and they told me the domino effect they just became fully booked in fashion campaigns after that. Even filmed it for this event. 💫

1990s rave hotlines were vital communication tools before widespread mobile internet, letting underground partygoers dial a recorded message on the night of an event to get map points, venue directions, or last-minute location changes if police shut down the original spot.Soundcheck pays homage to the history of underground rave culture by bringing back the rave hotline. Soundcheck Runway pulls Melbourne’s emerging fashion, music and creative communities into the same room for a single evening on 21 October.

The idea is to let scenes that usually run in parallel collide on the one floor. The designer lineup spans Feebee Coronel, Knot Rags, Jelly Originals, Val Barrios, Devorah Studio, Kylah Owo, Milo by Michelle and Oletta, with jewellery from Scorched Valley.
