Fear has a way of making the unknown feel bigger than it is. But sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is walk through the door anyway.
I came back, not knowing if I was ready. This place loaded with history, with ghosts, with all the things I’d spent a long time healing from. Every part of me had a reason not to go. With a little push from my friends, I showed up.

What I found on the other side wasn’t what I feared. It was something I hadn’t let myself hope for. I was held. Seen. Reminded of who I am and what I stand for. The people around me reflected back something I sometimes forget — that I am loved, that I belong, and that I never have to shrink to survive a room.
I honored myself. I stood in my values. And I came home more whole than I left.

Here’s to all my loves, my friends, my chosen family, my soul sisters. You are the proof that the right people find you — and when they do, they hold you like they mean it.

Here are some sweet moments of the past few weeks.

This year started by ripping the script in half.
The future I had pictured dissolved quietly, then all at once.
It hurt. Deeply. I was sad, disoriented, mildly feral.

Then something unexpected happened.
Life didn’t correct course — it shifted.
I traveled, made reckless-beautiful memories, healed my relationship with my father. I tried on new versions of myself, and kept the ones that felt true.

I lost the future I planned and somehow found myself again instead.
I like her. She’s lighter, braver, wilder. She’s going places!

I was held up by souls who became my anchors — fierce, soft, funny as hell.
The kind of friends who turn heartbreak into belly laughs, and remind you who you are. Because yes, I am badass!
And I am forever grateful to everyone of you. 🤍

Under the indigo hush of a Guatemalan evening, I pressed ink into the skin of women who have held me through every storm.

A single line across our fingers, a soft thread stitching us together across borders and heartbreaks, reminding me that love doesn’t always arrive with fireworks… sometimes it arrives as steady hands, shared laughter, and friends who refuse to let you forget your worth.

What a gift to mark them as they have marked me.
What an honor to carry this small line, this quiet promise, everywhere I go.
