Another amazing night with the @atomicfemmenz at the Wellington Opera House. Unfortunately I had to leave early due to illness but that’s life. Huge thanks to Liz Kooistra @libertystagepresents and @atomicfemmenz for having me back again. 7 AUG 2026 / AUCKLAND / BIG FAN

Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the show, and on such an icy winter’s night too 🧊 So cool to finally play these new Redux versions, as well as a little surprise cover which y’all were so attentive for 🥲 felt very connected then. All this in the big drapey fort I designed and built with @nicholas_jamieson ✨

@atomicfemmenz is back for 2026. The Kiwi femme-rock supergroup led by @julia_m_deans features @bohrunga, @dianneswann19, @veraellen_, and @jazmine__mary.

Backed by an all-femme band, they’ll cover an iconic catalogue spanning Blondie, Eurythmics, The Pretenders, Kate Bush, Madonna, and more.

After selling out in 2023 and 2025, they return in August – with three huge nights planned for Christchurch, Wellington, and Auckland.

Thank you 2025 - you had big spiralling up energy 🌀

I’m so proud and thankful for this year. 2025 challenged me in ways that threw me for an absolute loop, but I also -

- Released my debut album !!!! A literal dream come true

- Busted my a$$ to put on an album release show of dreams, one of the best nights of my life

- Had the honour of playing at the Auckland Art Gallery in celebration of a new exhibition by the legendary artist Louise Bourgeois

- Got thrown into the deep end in so many ways as a self-managed artist that don’t get seen on the internet ⭐️

- Played the Others Way festival to the most beautiful crowd - shout out @banishedfromtheuniverse. And with an incredible band that I continue to feel so lucky to share the stage with

- had ‘Her’ feature in the short film Our Party, an adaptation of Katherine Mansfield’s The Garden Party that screened at the NZIFF

and so much more that I’m incredibly grateful for. The world feels different atm - I feel different too. In times like this I’m reminded of this Francis Weller quote;

“The work of the mature person is to carry grief in one hand and gratitude in the other and to be stretched large by them”

Ready 4 u 2026 💙

When I say this took me months, I am not exaggerating. Every weekend I was doing something to prepare for this night. Sourcing cardboard, cutting, painting, sticking, arranging, driving to Penrose to pick up a box load of dirty used empty wine and whisky bottles I won in auction, Madi doing the same for some goblets in Remuera 😂.

I am ecstatic with how it all came out and how all our friends turned out to meet me at that level. The costumes and food brought last night were so so amazing. I am so lucky to have people that would go to these lengths to celebrate a holiday that New Zealand is still warming up to.

MASSIVE kudos to Madison for providing the games and activities ⚔️ , everyone had a great time with our medieval quiz, the jousting, creepy conversation starters, and blind drawing competition. And arranging the prizes! Top tier.

Shout to Ilayda for indulging us nerds and dressing as the Minstrel 🪕and providing the tunes and epic sound system.

My self esteem took a tumble recently but as I was setting everything up yesterday, I felt immensely proud of the decoration I created. I did this with an almost $0 budget, and just let my creative juices flow. Every 10 minutes I’d yell to Madison “AHHH THIS LOOKS SO COOL I DID SUCH A GOOD JOB”. Cause I did. I did a fucking great job. We all did.

See you next year, friends.

Sadly Dianne can no longer join me in Auckland so my friend Julia deans will be gracing the stage. Julia is a silver lining.
