Great training weekend in Kingston. First time in 🇨🇦 as well. Can’t wait to come back!

They say the little mistakes are what cost you. Between a pair of yellow flags and five too many swims, I think I need to look at eliminating the big mistakes first.

Transform your phone into a race compass and timer just by placing it in the NavTactiq™ Magic Deck Mount - no that's not ai, it's that easy

Why should you switch to NavTactiq™?

-The hardware is in your pocket and did you know almost all phones are waterproof now to 30 meters for 30 min

-It's the only digital compass that compensates for heel, yaw, and pitch, always telling you where your bow is pointed

-It's more accurate than expensive stand alone compasses, and it's class legal it doesn't use gps or data, only the magnetic sensors

-It's got the best built in timer on the market, all sailboat racing starting sequences, swipe to sync and the only timer that can sync forward or backward cus you know you hit the sync twice before

How do I know this?

I'm an engineer and I spent the past two years developing NavTactiq and the technology that goes with it, and unlike alot of tech, I use it personally for racing and coaching, I want all sailors to have access to the best tech, it's helped me win multiple championships and be a better coach, it will help you too 😎

Seabrook winter training block, great way to end off 2025.

Sandwiched between was the ILCA District 15 Championships, also at Seabrook Sailing Club. I did not prepare enough for this event and saw the consequences. I’m not very happy with the result but I’m trying to learn from it. Training here with other great sailors is the best way I can solve those problems I faced in the regatta.

Thank you @william_._baker @hamiltonbarclay_sailing and @zacksails for training with me and pushing me to be better these past couple weeks. Another thank you to @ilcacoach for all the support and coaching on the water.

Many of the amazing photos of the D15 championship were taken by @peterathertonphotography , so thank you to him as well.
