The fairies were extremely busy while Ray was at school.

Not only had they built a tree house; they came bearing gifts. A real gold medal for sleeping all night in her bed and another one for breaking her running PB by 1 whole second 🙌🏽 😂

Who would have thought a @lumibopcards dog (thanks Leo! @becswintle82) would be the animal to save the fairies day against a villain? 😂

I didn’t write the script, I merely helped put the set together 🤷🏽‍♀️

Today we opened her fairy @playmobil set (her besties know her well @joni.buendia) and added some extra bits in we already owned. It looks so magical ✨

… And then she was 6!

Ray has had the BEST day so my heart feels full.

I forgot just how much work it is having a party for your child so once it got started I didn’t take any pictures 🤦🏽‍♀️

Fortunately others were better at documenting the day and as I flicked through the pictures of Ray with her friends and family, I saw so much happiness and love 💖

Best bits?…

@candyflossanddreamshire, the candy floss cake was a hit, absolutely delicious and looks amazing when cut!

@hummingbbakery chocolate piñata 🤤 Ray picked well (I was hoping for rainbow)

Bubbles - just all the bubbles

Tattoo station - need I say anymore, thank you @kaixoq (I think possibly @kojostein too 🤷🏽‍♀️😂)

Colouring - I bought a cardboard play house, such a great idea

Park - we had a park attached to our venue, the children spent most of the time there. No entertainment required, but lots of water, soooo much water required 🥵

Fairy Hunt - Not only did children look for fairies, they played with the set up. I did have to wipe of many sticky finger prints off the wooden goodies after 😂

Balloons - Lot of them, again no entertainment required

Pizza - Good old Dominos, I’m yet to meet a child who doesn’t like pizza

Fruit skewers - ok there was also a marshmallow on each one too. I made 44, all demolished!

Party bags - I know these can bring up love / hate feelings but Ray was very intentional with the items she picked and I loved that they were well received.

All the whimsy - yes to @curiouslittlesplay @the.wonderie @makotoys.rs @_littlebrood @bumbutoys.ro Spuggys Workshop @predan_holzgestaltung and some new bits we added to our collection from @ilex.arts

… And on that note, no more parties, goodnight! 😴 😂

I had something lovely waiting for me last week when we returned from our holiday. A long time fan of Holly's work, I treated myself to a painting. I thought I'd share some of my favourites from other small businesses. Reading so many posts about poor sales, low engagement and how tough it is at the moment. It's a hard one, especially with the current economic climate and I know I'm preaching to the converted here but it's so important to support small businesses if you can, even if it's just giving them your support on social media.
Happy Sunday insta friends 🧡

Small showcase of my mushroom collection I got from @ilex.arts and the Light Sprites I got from Pop Mart! Absolutely love them. 🍄✨️

Now I'm just a bit scared of continuing with the pop mart thingy because what if I get one I already have? Do I just give it away? I don't know anyone around me who collects these, and I certainly don't want to waste.🤔

I also got a few York Ghosts around, I got them when we went to York with my partner last year and honestly I love them so much but good lord, we had to queue so long to get into the shop!

I hope Wednesday is treating you well!🍃
