TUNE IN to the Speak Your Truth Show, 4-6pm🕓(uk time), on Saturday 19 September when my very special guest, at 4:30pm, will be Trinidadian Steelpan musician, polymath musician, Brotha Akinola Sennon, live from Trinidad. Executive and Musical Director of Siparia Deltones, he is an arranger and educator from Siparia and views Steelpan as his pathway to changing his reality and influencing the world.

Brotha Akinola advances global recognition of Steelpan through artistry, education and mentorship. He began music aged 7, learning cuatro, guitar, piano, and theory before discovering Steelpan. Jin 1996 he joined Siparia Deltones, developing his artistry under Carlton Zanda Alexander. His newest project, COUSOUMEH, celebrates the heritage of Trinidad, the African diaspora blended with cultural and historical forces. His career spans collaboration with Hugh Masekela, performing Jazz, teaching, and arranging for Panorama. The highlight of his work is developing the Panyard Universe.
