🌞🍉 One weekend, two cookouts, one purpose.

This Juneteenth, our community came together to celebrate with good music, good food, good vibes, and great people, then returned the next day to share that community with others.

Thanks to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated, Gather for Good collected over 1,600 essential items to support our unhoused neighbors in Huntsville!

This is what we’re building: a community where young adults connect, celebrate our culture, create a real impact, and have a great time doing it.

A huge thank you to our partners:

🍔🍉 This Juneteenth, we set out to do more than host a cookout!
“The Second Plate”, a two-part, two day event joined with one purpose: celebrating together one day, then giving back together the next.

At The Second Plate, everyone was encouraged to bring a little extra. Those donations supplies our community outreach cookout the following day, where the food and supplies we collected were shared with our unhoused Huntsville neighbors.

Because of everyone who showed up, donated, volunteered, and believed in the vision, we collected over 1,600 food, beverage, and hygiene items to support our community.

This is what Gather for Good is all about: creating spaces where young adults can come together, connect, celebrate our culture, and make a real impact all in one.

One weekend.
Two cookouts.
One purpose.

A huge huge thank you to our partners for this event: @playground.247 @wegotflavasllc @__chef__theede__ @ill_cutzz @fadefactory256 we couldn’t have done it without you!!🫱🏾‍🫲🏿

Happy Juneteenth!!! 🌞👙🍹🍉
Pull up for The Second Plate, our 2-part cookout on Friday, June 19th for good food, good music, good drinks, and good vibes! 😎🍽️

Admission is simple: bring 2 food items to contribute to the party! Instead of just bringing one bag of chips or pack of hotdogs, double it! 🌭🌭 One item goes on the grill for the celebration, and the second gets donated to our outreach cookout on Saturday, June 20th, serving those in need.

Remember the 300+ supplies we gathered at our graduation party? We’ll be passing them out along with BBQ food and free haircuts* to the unhoused right here in our community!

Through our celebration on one day, we’re able to feed someone the next! Come eat, vibe, and be part of something bigger!!🥂
