📝: What reveals itself to you after dark?
💭: “Shooting at night isn’t about chasing light, it’s about finding it. I love the cinematic feel night photography can create and the bright, vibrant colours that contrast against the dark.”

Pictured is a scene from the final game at the 2025 @applewoodautogroup Can3x Summerfest at the Richmond Olympic Oval between the Thompson Country Cougars and Van State.

Van State guard Miguel Tomley rises for a contested shot against TC Cougars forward Michael Rouault. The action is perfectly lined up with a light post in the background of this scenic image from a hot summer afternoon at the Richmond Olympic Oval outdoor courts.

Van State prevailed and beat the Reigning Champ for their first ever Can3x tournament victory.

We are back soon…

Favour Igbinyemi debuted in Fiba 3x3 representing Van State at the 2025 @applewoodautogroup CAN3X Summerfest.

The forward played big and complemented his teammates Tate Christiansen, Miguel Tomley and Zach Stone on their way to winning Van State’s first ever Can3x championship.

We hope to see Favour back on the 3x3 court and are excited for what the future holds.

Did @labinah.r have the toughest individual photoshoot at @applewoodautogroup CAN3X Summerfest 2025?

The @cbcbearcats guard had a fantastic showing in 3x3, playing on a freshly formed team representing @misl.hoops and @3pball .

We heard #22 is back on the gram.👀

Welcome back!🤟

Anton Bilous, current number 22 for the @tccougars at this year’s @applewoodautogroup CAN3X Summerfest. The group battled in the gruelling heat, an environment that’s not new for the team from Kamloops. The Cougars ended up just 1 point shy of defending their championship, as Van State decided the final via a 2-1 finish in overtime.

Watch out for the Cougars in 2026.

The team played hard all day despite two injuries. A strong first showing in 3x3 for the young basketball club notorious for getting buckets.

@illcatchup captured the glow.

The team succeeded in the u17 category at the 2025 @applewoodautogroup CAN3X Summerfest. For most, this was a first but valuable step to entering the vast world of 3x3 basketball.
