Weekend Recap:

The boys finish off the Hinckley Invitashe going 2-1 with a second place finish, falling to Buffalo in the Championship game.

Game 1: Following a 2 hour road trip, we managed to take down the Anoka Bucs by a score of 2-1, courtesy of a walkoff @p_winter9 sac fly. @ashtondingmann got the start, throwing an excellent 5+ innings, with @willvanbeck3 closing it down.

Game 2: The fellas continued playing well as we knocked off the tournament host Hinckley Knights, featuring another walkoff, this time by @jacksonnpeterr with a 2 out single in the bottom of the 7th, talk about redemption (see last slide). @mueller_2009 started, going 4 no hit innings. @ethanmuellerr relieved, surrendering the only hit (see last slide).

Game 3: The boys held a 1 run lead for a cubble innings before ultimately running out of gas and allowing 4 runs in the 6th. @wyattsteffensen threw them all, and to be frank, not 1 run allowed was his fault. A fantastic performance.

Casino: @ryanolmscheid led the offensive attack, having himself a storybook 2 night runner in the guts of Grand Casino Hinckley. The former Saint was seeing the floor well, absolutely eviscerating slot machines for all they could give. The same can NOT be said for the rest of the boys, as we collectively donated $4,600 dollars to the betterment of the building.

We are back in action on Thursday, as we host a red hot Roscoe Rangers to kick-off the 4th of July weekend!
