School’s back, and with that we start our pre-season media campaign with our returning state qualifiers from the previous state tournament 👀

There’s 10 less guys on the list this year than last year, which is a pretty wild thing to think about but really, it just means this season is gonna be fresh, competitive, and probably pretty nuts

𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧. 𝐑𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝.

Never take an opportunity for granted. Every day we’re given the chance to make a positive impact in someone’s life is a gift.

Wrestling taught me how to fight through adversity, embrace discipline, never give up when life gets hard, and always believe there’s a way forward. Those lessons shaped the person I am today.

Now, I have the privilege of passing those same lessons on. Every practice is an opportunity to mentor, inspire, and help young athletes discover the confidence, resilience, and belief in themselves that this sport gave me.

I’m proud of every athlete I’ve had the privilege to coach. Whether their victories came on the mat or in life, each one has found their own way to grow, overcome challenges, and become stronger because of this sport.

This is why I coach.

2026 Chicago Youth Sectionals.

Down 10–4 in the 3rd, but I stayed composed, kept wrestling, and found a way to finish.

I’ve always admired @melvinmiller_07 signature shot. Mine still has work to do 😂 but last season it helped me get the job done.

Respect the craft. Keep learning. Keep building.

Class of 2030.
