Beyond financial support, we ensured every student received targeted mentorship, learning resources, and academic guidance to prepare them for success. I was hands-on — from organizing study sessions to providing motivation and tracking performance.

Beyond my commitments as a volunteer and project manager, one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey has been serving vulnerable communities and driving grassroots impact. Community development is not just a passion it’s a calling.

At the start of this month, alongside an incredible group of friends and changemakers under the Busayo Ademuyiwa Foundation, we embarked on an outreach through our Nurture a Child initiative. This time, our destination was Makoko a resilient and vibrant community that holds a special place in our hearts.

Over the course of five hours, we engaged students in one of the local schools, shared essential supplies, and facilitated educational and emotional support activities. To share a glimpse of this impactful day, I’ve compressed our entire experience into a short 2-minute video because sometimes, words just aren’t enough to describe the joy and connection we felt.

We may have the lowest number of people speaking up about sexual assault, but this is a satirical portrayal of what it means to be a perfect family. Looking beyond the normalcy of female sexual assault, we have a series of men who get sexually molested. However, the masculinity of men has shielded many from speaking up. Despite female victims speaking up to some level, they do not receive sufficient warmth or justice. What should we expect of men speaking out?

Boomerang is not just a book but an insight into one of our societal scars. A scene where a mother sexually molested her son and this became a pattern for those trusted. The became an adult who sexually molested his wife and daughter and, for repentance’s sake killed his mother and took his life.
