This character started from something unexpected: revisiting my own older artworks.
I used one of my daily sketches from early 2026 together with a previous traditional painting as the main references to build a completely new character.
The goal wasn't just character design, it was also a study of natural sunlight, color temperature, and colorful cast shadows under harsh daylight.
I always enjoy looking back at my older work. Sometimes the best references are the ones you've already created.

Hello, hello! 👋
Goethiam here with a new 3D project!

This little lady is a tribute to Little Clown and the amazing artwork of @illustart_nva (Nashmin Valadi), whose original piece inspired me to create this character.

Please go check out and support the original artwork here:

All credit for the original concept goes to the artist. ❤️

Have a wonderful night! 🌙✨

Kairn was the very first character we designed for Auroras of a Doomed Heart, long before the world around him began to take shape. His design helped establish the visual language, mood, and direction of the project, making him a fitting place to begin sharing our work with you.

• Design by @illustart_nva 👾

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more from Auroras of a Doomed Heart, its characters, environments, stories, and the process behind building the world from the ground up.

#aurorasofadoomedheart #characterdesign Photo by Black Capes on July 10, 2026. May be an illustration of ‎poster, cloak, costume and ‎text that says "‎KAIRN The Main Character Character Concept AURORAS OF DOOMED HEART ت ጥት Black Capes‎"‎‎.

They always say that light triumphs over darkness, but without darkness, light would lose its meaning. If light were ever to completely prevail, its intensity would become so overwhelming that nothing could be seen anymore—as if everything were erased or destroyed within it.
No one truly likes darkness or blackness, yet we must understand that darkness is just as valuable as light. It is half of life—part of us, and part of existence.
