Two hadith on this subject:

1. A man was insulting Abu Bakr while the Prophet ﷺ sat there. Abu Bakr stayed quiet. The man kept going, and Abu Bakr answered him back. The Prophet ﷺ got up and left. Abu Bakr followed him and asked if he was angry with him. The Prophet ﷺ said: an angel came down from the sky and was answering the man for you. When you answered for yourself, the angel left and a shaytan sat down, and I don't sit where a shaytan sits.

Abu Dawud 4896

2. Aisha said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ never took revenge for himself. Only when the limits of Allah were violated, and then he took it for Allah.

Bukhari 3560, Muslim 2327

Read the caption 👇 Drawing animals in Maliki fiqh. 🐾

In the Maliki school, making an image of a living being is haram only when two conditions are both met.

1: The image is complete. It is made in a form that could live, with all the parts needed for life.

2: The image is three-dimensional. It has a shadow. A statue or a figurine.

If either condition is missing, the image is not haram.

An image missing a part without which it cannot live, such as a head by itself or a body without a head, is not haram.

A flat image has no shadow and is not haram. This includes drawings, paintings, photographs, printed images, images on cloth, and images on a screen.

On the Day of Judgment, every soul will stand before Allah. No wealth, no status, and no worldly power will matter—only our deeds.

The Prophet ﷺ warned that the sun will be brought near, and people will be immersed in sweat according to their deeds. This hadith is a reminder to prepare for the Hereafter while there is still time.

May Allah grant us ease on that Day and make our good deeds heavy on the scale. Ameen.

An Arab dynasty ruled Sindh for 170 years. They assassinated a governor to take power, read Friday prayers in Baghdad's name while governing alone, and turned Mansura into one of the subcontinent's wealthiest cities.

Then Mahmud Ghaznavi burned it to the ground. 🔥

The Islamic Golden Age produced original mathematics, experimental science, and comparative scholarship that Europe had no equivalent for.

The "they just copied the Greeks" argument isn't neutral history. It's a conclusion written backward from a desired story.

The sources don't support it.
