JADE IS OFFICIALLY OFF TO UALBANYYYY💜💛🐾
where she will be studying biochemistry 🧫🧬and molecular biology 🔬🧪 (whatever that means🤔🤔) and minor in theater(A FIVE SIX SEVEN EIGHT!!!) 🎭. If you know Jade, you know she is either at 100%🔋 or at low battery🪫. When at 100% you can find her giggling 🤭, swaying, rubbing her nails 💅 , or stimming uncontrollably!! When at 0% you can find her blinking very slowly🐌 or just very eepy(not sleepy, eepy)😴😴😴 Although it is a rare occurrence, (we never know when she’s gonna be there 😔) when Jade IS at school 🏫 she is always making her friends laugh and smile.😃😃 (We just miss her so much, when we do see her we can’t take it for granted)🩷🩷🩷 Jade truly has such a kind soul☺️! She is the kind of friend who will laugh, cry(well if it’s Jade she’s laughing at you crying 😭😭), and have a full on concert with you🎤🎤🎤 Speaking of singing we all know and love jades singing voice!🎶 From playing Piragua in In The Heights to playing the famous dynamo Rosie in Mamma Mia!🪩🪩Jade loves being on stage with her church claps 👏👏👏 so much so she’s minoring in it!
We can’t forget about Jade’s fear of boats just sitting still in water specifically at night ⛴️🌊🌃 We can’t really explain this fear, just know she will freak out if she sees that…
Although she won’t admit it, we know Jade is going to be very sad to see us go🥺🥺 And we are as equally sad to see her go but we know Jade is off to fulfill her dreams of being a mad scientist 👩‍🔬👩‍🔬 and watching potions blow up 🤯🤯 We know she is going to do incredible things at UAlbany and we can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH JADE!!❤️❤️GOOOOOOOO GREAT DANES!!! 💜💛💜💛🐾🐾

Oh Godspell, where do I begin with you?
To have Godspell as my final high school show and coming back to it after so many years felt like going full circle. Doing this show was like an homage to my past, a sign of the growth I've been through and the improvement of not only my voice and my acting, but my character. This show is a love letter, not just to my past, but to my future. I couldn't have asked for a better show to put on for my last year.
Playing Judas was honestly a dream role of mine. Being able to play such a complex and meaningful character yet still bring my own twist to it was a joy I'll never forget. His character is one that opened up new parts of me, and helped me see and realize so much, that he's not just the betrayer (but damn, did I do good with that!), but also a lover, and a learner. Judas, thank you for teaching me that everything isn't just cut and dry. For pushing me to look into the complexities so I can really understand.
And my own experience with Judas wouldn't have been shaped the way it did without the rest of my cast. I know, we were all skeptical of it at first, but we managed to pull through and show everyone what a close-knit community we are. Not to be corny, but we really did build a beautiful city.
Thank you guys for helping me grow. Whether you've been in the show for ages or just joined this year, you're still a part of my journey, my family, and my home. And I am so glad I got to share the stage with you.
I already miss you all so much, and I'll always come back and visit. Mark my words, with whatever you all accomplish in the future, I'll support you all 110%. And I'll cherish you all dearly as I continue forward with my path.
"Prepare ye" for what comes next, guys. Whatever happens, wherever we go, we do it together. Forever a Preston Player, 'till the end of my days.

One year ago today, on the most gorgeous day I could ever ask for, I married my best friend in front of 100 of our closest friends and family. It was such an epic day that when we saw those people at other events since then, they would always tell us how much fun they had, how good the food and music were, and how dreamy the venue was (it truly is a stunner). Our wedding was a memorable event for us and our guests, and I truly wouldn’t have done anything differently. It was worth all the stress of planning!

Some people have asked if being married feels different. Or WHAT has changed? And my answer has been, nothing. Nothing has changed about how I feel about my husband, or how grateful I am to do life with someone who truly gets me. What is different, is knowing that you now are bonded to this person for life, for better or worse. There’s responsibility in knowing that we have made a promise to each other to take care of one another, to plan life together, to grow old together. It’s hard to explain, it’s just deeper.

And right now, a year from our wedding, we are off to our honeymoon across the world. Guys, pray for Rob as he deals with me and traveling for 12+ hours. That’s no easy feat. He gets extra kudo points tho bc the lounge we’re currently having breakfast at is pretty sweet.

We celebrated my nieces Sweet 16 this weekend and it was magical! 💜🥳

Jade, it feels like just yesterday that I met that sweet quiet 9 year old. It has been such a pleasure to watch you blossom into the young woman you are today. I can’t wait to see what life holds for you. We love you @iluvwater8!!

Now that I’ve had time to rest and reflect on yesterday — I deadass have an 18 year old?! That’s crazy 😭.

What a wonderful day celebrating my mini. We celebrated in her natural fashion, at @rpmraceway where she raced, bowled and played arcade games all afternoon! Followed by a delicious and hilarious dinner at @fujimountain_ny. Thank you to my family who made it special for her and for all those who messaged me birthday wishes.

I could go on and on about how I can’t believe she’s 18 now and how I’m incredibly proud of her, but she knows that already. I can’t wait to see what the next chapter of life has in store. We love you ❤️
