This weekend was definitely a tale of 2 courses.

The Classic Golf Club in Spanaway couldn’t be more different from The Home Course. More narrow fairways, lots of elevation changes between holes, and shaggy rough that would kill your shots (tip: club up always!!!)

But it was still a beautiful day of golf! Started at freezing temps, and warmed up by the end of my round. I’ve had this song on repeat in my head both rounds 😊 really helped me keep terrible swing thoughts out of my head.

Now, time to rest and reset. Another week of grinding it out before more tourneys. Big thanks to @uskgseattle for putting together some amazing spots for golf this fall. Can’t wait to see how the greens roll next week and what song I obsess over next!

The chip in I had been waiting for all day!! We can pack it up after a long day!

It has been such a privilege these past few years getting to represent the First Tee of greater Seattle at fundraisers. This past Monday, I once again was able to help out at one of my favorite events, the Microsoft Charity Scramble. This scramble was the very first fundraiser I had helped with 2 years ago, so be to be back a 3rd year helping raise funds for our program is so special!

This year instead of buying a drive, I helped with chip in’s for a guaranteed birdie, a likely eagle, or the elusive 1 chip for a hole out on 18. I made one group very happy after an afternoon of up and downs!

I practice so much, and sometimes it’s nice for a little reminder that it’s all paying off. Celebrating all the little victories I have on and off the course are what makes life so rewarding! ( but a hole out chip sure is sweet🥰)

Thank you to the amazing people at First Tee greater Seattle for always allowing me to help give back to a community of friends, peers, and mentors who give me endless motivation to keep pushing. Thank you to all the gracious donors and sponsors who help make this even and events like this happen. I know these are probably not easy to pull off.

And a special thank you to all those who cheer me on, support me, and come back to check on my progress. The continued support is so vital to a young person in sports.

So, although fundraising season is over for me till next year with First Tee, I’m always practicing. So hopefully next season I can help even more groups get that elusive 1 on the card!!

Fall season is just around the corner and I’ve been hard at work.

I feel like I’ve made a lot of small adjustments going into this season. One being more consistency in my tempo.

My tempo is something that comes with me from the moment I step onto course. It’s a beat it my head; it’s the beat I walk the fairway to. My tempo still tends to be a little quick, but I’m working on keeping it consistent and trying to get it slower.

I think taking my time and feeling my swing is going to help with tempo too! Any tips on keeping a solid tempo?!? I would love to know how everyone else keeps their tempo consistent!

And we’re back! Fall 2026 tourney season is upon us!

New season, new friends, and a whole new set of challenges! I promoted to the 9-10 age group (yay) but with new longer yardages (😒)

Sike! I love a challenge! It was fun hanging with the big girls this weekend. I might be small, but this girl has power. I held my own and finished strong. The new @labgolfputters came in clutch at moments I needed to close for a par and my new @flynnjuniorgolf hybrid was doing some work!

It was so nice to be back in tourney mode and Sunland Golf Club was so very nice! As always, thanks to @sunlandgolf for being a gracious host course and @uskgseattle for another memorable one. It’s back to back tourneys all season, so on to the next one!

Everyone has a tough day at the office 😝

I can laugh about it now, but when you are going through it, you are GOING THROUGH IT!! But, every mistake you make on course is a learning experience. Whether it’s swing mechanics or what. Today, for me, it was my mental game. My first tee shots were a bit off and I couldn’t get out of my head for the 8 other tee shots. (I wasn’t shifting!?!?)

I can’t appreciate the growth in my game if I can’t see the opportunities that need growth. Everyone is human and even the world number ones don’t hit every shot perfect!!!

Go out and shoot your shot, recognize your mistakes, and make changes that will help you improve! I’m lucky to have caddy mom @im.mibarra for always filming so I can see where I can improve and what exactly I’m doing! I’m also very grateful for my awesome coach @pgacoach_vicky for sticking with me, good and bad days! Sorry Coach! This was tough, but I promise we fixed it!!!!

Want to know what 200 days of golf really looks like?

It’s practice rounds, it’s short game, it’s tournaments, it’s fun!

I’ve committed a whole year to see what grabbing my club daily to practice swings, (even if it’s just feels in my living room) look over footage of my swings, playing golf with friends, or even just mapping my course play and distances.

Getting better at golf was the goal of golf everyday, but it’s become so much more! Sharing my progress, my love for golf, and all the friendship and opportunities it has brought me just makes me happy.

I don’t post every swing every day, ( if you want to watch my journey you can catch it in my stories 😝) but thank you to all that are following my story and rooting for me. You are all part of the motivating voice that keeps me swinging!

Ever wonder what’s going on in your junior golfers mind? I bet it sounds something like this!

I try and keep all the talk in my head positive from the time I make it to the golf course, till the time I drive off. This was one of my best days on course during practice and I think it’s all because I spent my time on course having fun! Bad shots are bound to happen, but if I focus my attention on where I would want my ball to land, I can lock into my shots a lot better?

Trust your set up and swing 😂😂😂

I practice all the time at the range with my dad and for the most part I will say, if there is anyone, that guy knows every part of my swing and set up. But as I get older, I know my game better than anyone!

My dad is still out there helping me with my practice, and will occasionally catch me rushing through to get to dinner, but when you know, you know.

Trust your gut and just swing your swing 🤗

It’s been fundraising season! Team First Tee Seattle has been out here doing some work!!! We’ve been out here making putts and hitting tee shots for our First Tee Seattle chapter all summer.

The Rise Up Academy Event was a success and just a super fun day all around! Thank you to all the amazing individuals who made this day a success! From our Coaches, donors, players, volunteers, celebrities, and the Mill Creek CC. After days like this, my heart is so full! I get to share my love and passion for the game with friends new and old!

It’s a privilege to have parents that will make the long field trip down to check out some putters (fun huh 😂) but they sure did!

After competing this past weekend I went down to Creswell, OR and got to check out all the new putters that @labgolfputters have released since my last visit. The look, tech, and putting did not disappoint!

The last time we made the drive down, I wasn’t a very skilled putter. Since then I’ve worked on my technique and with the help of my Link 1.1 have been doing well! But there is always better! So, check out if I made a change!!!

Thank you to everyone at @labgolfpipeline in player development for getting me hooked up with a fitting and my fitter Tyler @labgolfputters. He is still the best!

No Sam sighting this time, but still such a great experience and one you must make if you are considering a LAB putter and are close enough to come out! Or find a fitting near you! It is totally worth it!

What an incredible couple of days of golf!

Being able to watch and experience The Boeing Classic first hand was such a special treat! I am so used to playing golf myself and watching it on TV that I would have never guessed I could watch it for real right here at home!

Thank you to all of those who made my day special and the week of Boeing Classic special as well! @clubatsr @firstteeseattle @virginiamasonfranciscanhealth @rho.pollard @kathryn_mueller @933kjr and of course @boeingclassic.

Being able to witness some shots from these incredible men was amazing! Paving the way for juniors like me in the future.
