Isaiah and his gnomes in the sculpture studio.

You can find Isaiah helping everyone in the metal shop, or making molds for his gnomes in the wood shop.

His process: struggle and complain until the thing is down. His advice: “Take your time. Take notes. Understand everything is a learning opportunity and a change to grow your skills.”

We luv ya Isaiah <3333

Pics from 'What's Your ____ Again?,' an activation i had the pleasure to throw together at Ox-Bow. I had everyone wear blind folds and try to find each other in a field, the only rule being you can only say other people's names. Time, Chance, and Outside Forces was an incredible class, consisting of incredible people. Thank you so much to everyone who participated, if i missed tagging anyone please let me know (in my defense y'all were wearing blind folds 💀)

Magic happened again at OxBow, y’all. I am blown away and still beaming from this past session. I am so proud of this incredibly hardworking, smart, sweet, and hilarious group of students. Same requirements as last year: 1) Make a skewer - skewer party was an absolute rager btw, and 2) Have one finished piece to present. Said requirements and expectations were exceeded…again. I also took on a TA this year-shouts out to Isaiah- which I typically do not do, and I am so glad I did.

To my Metal Babes (*cough* Metal Babies, I know, it’s gross, I’m SORRY) - Way to absolutely crush this class! I am so excited to see what you do in the future.

Special thanks to Nick and Nate for holding it down, making it work, and being an extra source of encouragement and positivity; the other faculty and staff who I had such a lovely time and meaningful conversations with; Also, to Bella, for being the best girl and mascot.

Bonds were FORGED. Thank you @oxbowschoolofart for having me. 🖤⚒️🖤

Happy 4 week anniversary to our 2025 Fellowship cohort!🌹
This crew has already become a key part of life and operations on our campus from their work on our campus teams, to hosting art activations on the meadow, and dominating the top spots of our costume contests. If you see them on campus, make sure to stop and say hi.

You can learn more about our Fellowship program on our website at ox-bow.org/fellowship-program
