Hey! I’m brooklyn i’m from a small town in south carolina called walterboro. I wanna share my testimony! So from a very young age i’ve always grown up going to church and being a believer. Ive always complained about my back hurting and we didn’t think much of it at first but at the age of 11 I got a x-ray and got diagnosed with scoliosis. It wasn’t a bad case so the doctors said to just keep a eye on it, when I found out I had it my mom had me on the prayer list, going to get anointment oil and prayed over. I was always in pain. I was hopeful that the lord would work a miracle, but when i went back 2 years later and found out that it had gotten worse and the curvature was now 36 on the top and 29 on the bottom and i began to lose hope and stop believing that anything would change. I went back the next year and found out that my curvature was now 46.7 on the top and 42.3 on the bottom but I was functioning normal and no one could tell that I had it unless I told them. No one knew or understood how I could play all the sports that i’m playing, hide it so well and do normal things that people can’t do when they have those numbers of curvature. That’s when i truly gave it all to Jesus and trusted he’s got it all under control, and that’s when he opened my eyes and showed me that he was doing all this to use me as a example that just because someone thinks that you can’t do something or you think that you can’t do something because of a struggle your having, DONT let that struggle or thing define you. Put it all in Gods hands because he’s walking you through a path to show others that he’s always got a plan and purpose and just because we may not understand it, it’s all apart of showing the world his glory! With all of that I wanna share that this past year I went for my annul x-rays and my curvature hasn’t grown at all! Actually it looks a tad better than before! All Glory is due to the lord, and if he can do it for something like me I promise you he can do it for you. Give it all to Christ and trust his plan for you! WE are LIVING in answered prayers don’t let the bad distract you from the amazing things that are happing all thanks to God.

12/12/24, was my first official performance, our Chorus Christmas Concert! Words can’t fully describe how much it meant! Joining chorus just a month before, the journey of hard work, memorizing songs, hours of rehearsals, and being part of an amazing quartet came together into a moving and beautiful show.

The best part? The friendships formed and strengthened, the overwhelming support from family and friends, and seeing the joy it brought to everyone. It fills my heart to know we sang to glorify and praise the Lords name. My prayer is that someone saw the Lord through our performance!

Thank you, Jesus, for this opportunity, for the strength, and for the gift of music, thank you for this beautiful gift of life and, more importantly, You and Your love. 🥹❤️‍🩹✝️🎉
