Happy Thankful Thursday! Today I’m thankful for growth and opportunity. Appreciating the opportunity to grow and learn a new skill in influencing. Whatever your journey is, remember to remain diligent and while you’re at it, remember to remain thankful! 💪🏾💞💚

Summer nights in Detroit but make it PINK!
💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

Talk about a PRETTY start to the weekend…. LPO hosted its annual “All Shades of Pink” AKAsion Afterwork Affair! And it was fun to see our chapter and friends! Thanks to @itslifeaccordingtosonya, @valerieboggan_ and the many others from other chapters in the Great Lakes who came out to support LPO!

Today, I celebrated! After months of attending various workshops to become a better leader, I, along with 500 of my sorority sisters, celebrated finishing the Great Lakes Leadership Academy. I love that my sorority isn’t just about sisterhood; it’s also about developing better leaders.

POV: crying out to God because Regional fees, Boule fees, flights, hotel, nalia, and registration all hit at the SAME time 😭💚💗

Please tell me I’m not the only soror in my prayer closet right now.

“Thriving as a Black womxn isn’t about perfection. It’s about our collective power. It’s about turning adversity into alignment, pain into purpose, and barriers into breakthroughs. It’s about choosing joy when the world expects exhaustion, choosing truth when silence feels safer, and choosing US…always.” -KRG

On this #WaybackWednesday, I’m still reflecting on the time spent with my sisters at Michigan Cluster. Serving as a moderator for the Pretty Girl Podcast: Pink and Green Edition was such a grounding and affirming experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to hold space, lift up our voices, and engage in real dialogue WITH Black womxn FOR Black womxn. Every story shared, every emotion expressed, and every truth spoken reminded me of the power we carry—GREATER TOGETHER.

Thank you @akagreatlakes Regional Director @gwenlkirtley for the opportunity to serve. My heart is still full.

Pulled up to Detroit for a meeting and found out my lovely sisters of Lambda Pi Omega were hosting a Community Recycling & Shred Day with the men of Tau Kappa Kappa! 💚💖🐶 You KNOW I had to stop by!

The cars were lined up, the shredder was shredding, and the community showed up and out! 📄🔥

Shredding protects your identity, secures personal info, and supports responsible recycling. Now that’s service that matters! 🙌🏾♻️

I’m already missing ALL my pretty girls who attend the 94th Great Lakes Regional Conference of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® 🥹🩷💚

Pittsburgh owes us nothing, we came and handled business and until next time pretty girls remember to be kind, stay sisterly, and see you ALL at Leadership!
