POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Our very first Green Space Studios block party was one for the books!

There are SO many people to thank for yesterday. Our vendors, workshop facilitators, musicians, DJs, volunteers, raffle-donators, friends, family, neighbors, and every single person who showed up, contributed, danced, created, shared, and supported. The list goes on and on. 🫶 What started as an idea became a whole community coming together and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Together, we raised a meaningful amount of money in support of Colombia, while creating a day centered around community, culture, creativity, and connection.

If you weren’t able to make it but wish to make a contribution, donations will remain open for the remainder of the month. More to come on that 😉

This is exactly why Green Space exists: to exist as a space that helps to uplift one another, celebrate culture, make friends, and use creativity as a force for connection and positive change.

Thank you for believing in Green Space, showing up for Colombia, and making our first block party so special. 🇨🇴💜

Here’s to many more!!✨

Highlights from Gemini Ball & D.K. Lyon’s headlining set this past Saturday at Pianos 🪩♊️🍾

This was one of the most joy-filled shows I’ve been to in a long time, and I did my best to capture that energy through these photos :)

A huge thank you to all of the incredible artists— both musical and visual— who made the night so special and vibrant! More to come soon, including vertical shots and photos from the other sets throughout the evening😁

We are pleased to announce “The Year We Dream and Bloom.”

This exhibition reflects on heritage and dreams, exploring the ways in which art can give voice to stories that are often left unspoken. Through the work presented, the exhibition creates space for expression, allowing artists to speak for those whose voices are not heard.
Discover the artists in our next announcement. #SALONLOLO

I'm here!!! And so is this beautiful, OFFICIAL flyer created by dear @danih_93

I'm sooo incredibly excited to announce the opening date for
(In)Finite Reflections will be held on June 3rd from 7-10pm at the magical and emboldening @greenspacestudios

The show lands on the first week of June not only as a tribute to my birthday month, but as tribute to this summer that promises a bold and unapologetic season of interlocking the self with our beyond--the spaces within us that "feel" too far to reach. This summer will reflect the same heat we find inside of our passions, dreams-- especially the sweat of the things that have yet to be released from within you.

I am honored my show will have the company of

@baked.in.hdk who has been working with me to curate flavor profiles to match with my art pieces! How COOL is that?! Reveals for these special baked goods will be fresh outta the oven soon!!

@bookhavenbooks another sweet soul who also curated a selection of books to reflect the themes of my works! There is always a lesson in a book waiting to be held in your hands.

@imaaginattion how can I speak of motion and dreams without the presence of this beautiful soul?! Gina will be awaiting the tales of your dreams to create your Dream Portrait!

@carmenarrojo music speaks powerfully through a combination of sounds and silence-- Carmen knows this language well, and carries this sacred weight with much grace. She will be providing a meditative Sound Bath for us at 8:30pm.

@chancletadeathclub Ryan and Hailey have recently culminated their own musical universe filled with untouchable rawness and sacred prose. I am deliriously delighted to have them as an additional highlight for the night at 9:00pm!

I invite you to come celebrate me and you, the spaces and ripples between us, the lessons we've learned and the ones we've yet to come across.
