January -June owes me ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. New additions to my family, nurtuing established relationships, spending time with my favorite people . Promotion on my job . Then ,from sleigh riding in the Snow capped mountains of Utah , to sun bathing on the beautiful beaches of Jamaica. Then celebrated my 35th birthday at @durandbernarr concert with my close friends and family. Now I’m ready for my 2nd half of 2024. The Bible says the ending of a thing is better than the beginning…. I miss my baby man uggggggh 3am in my head like damn if you know me you know this lady was my whole heart 💜 I’d shake the world about her! We invited them to Tampa and they came… from as far as New York. And even though Aunt Freda couldn’t make it, she sent a pan of rutabagas and turnips! My favorite.

A week ago today, I closed on a home. Monumental moment, but wasn’t entirely joyful as I flew back to prepare for my Aunt Eula’s Memorial.

ATL airport saw a bunch of my family, too. Every minute with them was a minute to remember…and Sunday Brunch in my aunt’s honor was the culmination. We cried hard together and laughed hard, too.

While everyone filed out on Monday, my birthday, I reflected on the year AND the weekend and was overcome with gratitude. Can I just take a moment to say thank you?

To those tagged, to my no-IG fam, to those pictured, & those in my heart… I am grateful to you for carrying me & US!

And after all that, we moved! Whirlwind for sure, but my Aunt Eula would be sooooooo proud.
