Okay, we can finally tell y’all the truth. 🤫 For the last two weeks, Waynesville Soda Jerks has secretly been Carl the Sasquatch’s home base— his official hideout during his big summer journey across Western NC with @visitsmokies Find Carl scavenger hunt!

The whole time he was here, Carl was every bit the local legend— swapping stories with fellow explorers, catching up with old pals like Phoebe Sasquatch and Gene the Bear @nantahalacabins, and (we won’t lie) sneaking a taste of a few tasty sodas around the production facility when he thought no one was looking. 👀

But every good hideout has to end sometime. Today, Carl’s packing up his giant feet and heading off to his next stop on the journey. Thanks to everyone who followed the clues and found him with us— we are going to miss him so much! We will not miss finding Sasquatch hair around the corners of the shop, though. 😄

Safe travels, Carl! 🧡 Keep following the hunt on Facebook to see where he turns up next.

We’re open 10AM-6PM today through Saturday. 🫧

When I was in elementary school, Earl Scruggs granddaughter was a couple years behind me in school. Earl would show up at grandparents day and my mom would tell me what a cool thing that was but being a third grader I had no idea. :-) He and Louise his wife revolutionized not just the banjo but Bluegrass in general and took it to another level. it was an absolute honor to get to continue their legacy at the @earlscruggsfest. If you didn’t make it to Scruggs fest, well it’s not too late! @theavettbrothers are playing tonight as well as a whole bunch of other great artists. and if you can’t make it this year we’ll then aim for next 😁 Thanks to everyone who came out to see us play and to all staff and volunteers who put on the festival. And thanks to Maegan Dauphinais for the killer photos! 🌞🌧️🔥🪕🏔️❤️

Our kinda chic looks a little different. 🤗

It’s knowing the farmers behind our ingredients, dreaming up new flavors, messy production days, learning alongside our fellow Soda Jerks, and getting ridiculously excited when a new creation finally comes together.

Swipe through for a little glimpse of what we mean. 🫧 Open 10AM-6PM today, with half-priced soda slushies from 3PM until we break down at 5:30PM!
