💚💛🌊2nd Annual #TCAlumni Tailgate

📍🥜🍑Terrell County, GA

🟢🟡👥Class of 2003 and the #MyTGreenwaves. Thank you to classmates @porshe_shamese & @mj23love08 for organizing everything.

🌞🥘🫂The Spring Alumni Tailgate was another lovely time with Alumni, family, and classmates. Even if I didn't get a picture, it was so nice to speak with and hug so many alumni. Earlier in the day, I was also able to check out the Easter festivities hosted by Raines Baptist Church and sponsors. Great turnout for both events.

🎉5️⃣0️⃣ Congratulations to the class of 7T5 on their 50th year Greenwave milestone.

part 2 ✨
two months ago, completely unbeknownst to me my closest friends and family began to plan a truly unforgettable 25th birthday weekend for me, read on if you would like to see how it all unfolded. 🤍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
the first surprise came last thursday when @afroshmafro & @shainamonai arranged to secretly fly out my best friend in the world @bethanylaurencoley__ from California. (see the third slide, I was so shocked 😭) the next night, i was instructed to pack a bag for the weekend because we were off to a secret location in the morning.
we set off, and after about an hour and a half drive we pull up to the Wild Animal Safari Park in Georgia, (if you know me you know how much i love animals and specifically giraffes) so needless to say there were more tears lol
after having an amazing time up close and personal with my favorite animals we set off on the road. this time for almost 5 hours!

after a treacherous ride we arrive at a beautiful dreamy cabin in the mountains of Tennessee 😍
the next day we explored the town, wine tasting by day and chilling in the jacuzzi at the cabin by night.
the evening of my birthday my friends let me know that for dinner i would be competing in a Chopped style (my favorite show) cooking competition against @crazyshayyy (more tears). after dinner, i opened my presents and was shown the most beautiful video collection of happy birthday wishes from my family & friends all over the US curated by @afroshmafro .
ya’ll...i was a mess, it was the most beautiful gift i have ever received 😢 so i would like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of my friends and family involved in making my birthday the most special birthday i’ve ever had. i love each and every one of you, and i am still on a high from all of your touching words & gifts 🥺

again, i don’t know what i did to deserve such loving, supportive, and thoughtful friends but i am going to spend my life trying to repay you all 💗 one day, i will share the compilation video of my friends and family until then i went ahead and tagged you all ✨
