#TB to this amazing wedding! Can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years!

Sam and Kwame’s wedding will always be special in my heart. At the beginning of COVID, myself and the other members of the Toronto Wedding Collective had the idea that we could create a full wedding experience where our couples had to make as few decisions as possible and still end up with their dream wedding.

We decided to do a giveaway to the people we felt were most deserving at this time: our frontline workers.

Sam is a nurse who worked directly with patients suffering from COVID every day, seeing the struggle first hand of everything. Kwame for his part was also right on the front line working at a long term care facility which were the most impacted populations in Canada.

When we heard their story, they talked about trying to plan their dream wedding only to have the venue close due to COVID. To weigh moving in together and having their first home together against the financial cost of a wedding. But more than that, their incredible energy and charisma came through at every touch point.

We wanted to be a part of their wedding!

The day itself was really magical because everyone there was so present and engaged with their love. Their energy came through in every single photo.

Always wishing Sam and Kwame a beautiful life together and all the love they deserve.

Spring is finally here! And that means soon it’s the season of lush greenery and bright flowers 🌸🌿. While 2024 has many trendy looks, it’s important to go with what feels like “you”.

So here are some ideas for a fresh, spring wedding!

Greenery. Whether your colour palette is bright colours or blush neutrals, including lush greenery adds a fresh looks and can sometimes be a way to save money. But outside of saving money, it helps to bring an outdoor feel to indoor spaces!

Bold Colours. While neutrals and blush tones always look beautiful, we love it when couples opt for a bold colour palette; bright oranges, pinks, etc. always make weddings so unforgettable!

All White. Whether you want a traditional or modern look, white will always look stunning and timeless as trends come and go!

Rainbow. If you’re opting for bold colours, and want to make a statement, a rainbow palette really does look beautiful. It will make your day unforgettable and bring vibrance and joy to your special day.

Stay tuned for more ideas!

Cheers to saying ‘I do’ in style! 🍻✨ Steam Whistle Brewing in Toronto isn’t just a brewery; it’s a one-of-a-kind wedding venue that brings a unique charm to your celebration.

Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, this venue offers unique photo opportunities from CN Tower views, historic rail cars, and the beautiful waterfront!

With its industrial-chic setting, the Roundhouse provides a perfect backdrop for a memorable wedding day.

The spacious venue, filled with natural light, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The open-concept design allows for seamless flow between ceremony, reception, and dance floor – making it an ideal space for both intimate gatherings and grand celebrations!
