Working for myself means long hours working and reworking my art. Days without seeing anyone, other than cafe breaks. I exercise to raise my heart rate and lifts my spirits, a daily must do. Loneliness is real, especially moving to another country and starting again. It’s easy to slip and let negative thoughts and actions in, fight it. Be ok alone, learn to be your best friend. You are stronger than you know x #dream #art #inspiration #create #travel

Honestly, when I hit a goal most of the time it just feels like a sense of relief.

A mental requirement met.

One thing I’ve been working on lately is taking a moment to appreciate the moment Distinct hit our goals.

Once a goal was hit, we were straight onto the next.

Now as a team, we take time to appreciate the goals we have hit each month.

Both personally and as a business.

Each month we ask the team what their personal and professional highlight was.

Take time to enjoy it.

It’s worth the time to smell the roses.
