Went to Harrogate and discovered @imaginedthingsbookshop a delightful treasure trove of bookish wonders! I loved it so much.

Picked up a pertinent tale for October - Ghost Month by Simon Wroe. Sounds SO intriguing, not a book I’ve come across before. Anyone read this one?

Part 3 | Where did I go on my travels this time? 📚✨

During the summer, I headed to Harrogate to explore Imagined Things Bookshop! I’d visited a few times on previous trips to Harrogate, and it was just as lovely as I remembered!

Located on Montpellier Parade, it’s right in the heart of town and the perfect stop to add to your list if you’re ever visiting. They had such a brilliant selection of books, as well as Unseen Reads – where you can read clues about a book before choosing one to unwrap as a surprise!

They also had a really cool cake stand-shaped table in the centre, displaying a variety of books – some new releases and others I’d never heard of! It was lovely to browse them all and have a nosey at their covers and blurbs.

My mum, sister and I all picked up a book for our next read! It was hard to choose just one. ❤️📚

A fabulous event- Bombay to Bond so interesting and enjoyable. Yesterday was Independent Bookshop Day here in the UK. I love an independent bookshop and try to visit and buy from them as much as possible. I always try to find one when I visit a new town or city and have been lucky to discover some fantastic bookshops over the years. So, today I'm sharing some of the independent bookshops I love.

But, there are some I love that are too far away to visit but I order online from and highly recommend. These are @goldsborobooks, @bertsbooks and @tealeavesandreads

Happy bookshop day!!! Naturally, I celebrated by going book shopping - any excuse, right?✨

We spent the day in Harrogate, wandering around as many bookshops as possible. Apparently owning more books than I can physically read isn’t going to stop me from acquiring even more 🤭

Add a few cosy coffee shops in the mix and you’ve got my perfect day🍂

I’ve been to quite a few bookshops recently, a lot of them for the first time. It’s been so wonderful to explore new towns and cities and find a bookshop wherever I go. I’ve picked out a few indie bookshops that you might like to add to your bookish bucket lists. Enjoy! ✨

1. The Spicy Librarian - a full romance bookshop that will 100% meet all your romance book needs.
2. Gulp Fiction - a cosy bookshop and cafe/bar where a lot of books include a free drink!
3. Bodies in the Bookshop - a crime fiction bookshop that has such an amazing selection - all you crime readers will love it!
4. Bad Girl Books - did someone say romantasy bookshop?! Full of romantasy books and gorgeous gifts.
5. Books and Bevs - a bookshop and cafe that has such a lovely community vibe, and such cosy reading spots!
6. Topping & Company, Ely - the first of this independent chain to open, a classic Toppings bookshop with packed shelves of every genre you can think of (and ladders!)
7. Imagined Things Bookshop - a lovely bookshop in the gorgeous city of Harrogate, with such a great selection and fun gifts and extras too.

Just finished this book.

The Phoenix Pencil Company by Allison King.

Highly recommend. A little magic, stories within stories, a little history and a even a little about data privacy (those who know me will understand why that appeals 😃)

Right - let's see what is next in the TBR pile...
