It’s true.
Makeup brushes are probably not top of mind when you decided to transition to cruelty-free makeup brands, but they are becoming more and more popular and easy to find because of the attention being brought to the issue! 🐿

Many of the soft and fluffy brushes you use are made with the real fur of soft and fluffy animals. 🐇

Vegan and synthetic brushes can actually deliver just as good (if not better) results because their synthetic fibers are hypoallergenic and less expensive.
It’s a win-win. 🏆

Did you know that there’s a difference between eyeshadow brushes and eyeshadow CREASE brushes? 💡

Have you considered how much pressure when applying blush, bronzer or powder?
You should be using a very light pressure overall.
How many brushes does one girl need? Ideally 5-7 depending on how much makeup you like to wear.
How often should you clean your brushes?
At least once a week and immediately if you’ve had a breakout or let other friends use your brushes! It’s also important to clean your makeup brushes to get rid of buildup, dirt, oils, and more importantly bacteria! 🛁

Do you have other questions?
I’m always happy to help virtually or answer them or have a private lesson to go over what you have, what you can live without and what you might need to apply makeup quickly, efficiently, and correctly!

🌸 Brush Guide 🌸

If you're ever confused about which brush to use to complete your makeup routine, then this quick guide is awesome !
Only thing we'd change up is the foundation brush in preference for a beauty sponge for a more airbrushed look.

One to save down for quick reference next time you're in the beauty isle looking at those make up brushes !
