After almost 7 years at Atlantic Records, unfortunately I was impacted by the mass layoffs that happened last week and today marks the end of an amazing era. What’s went down at Atlantic over the last few months has shook a lot of us to our core. I am so grateful to have worked under THEE legendary Julie Greenwald and Sheila Richman. It’s been an honor to work alongside some of the best and most creative and dedicated music execs in the industry. I’m extremely proud of the cultural impact I’ve been able to make through my work at the label and wouldn’t change a thing! Swiping through this post is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the run I’ve had at Atlantic. I will miss the west coast crew the most 🥹 We really were a little family with the coolest bond built around being passionate about our work and had fun, laughed and cried (sometimes lol) while making magic happen for our artists. I plan to take this time to slow down, give my brain a much needed break, recalibrate and think through what could potentially be next for my career. To everyone that was impacted, as cliche as it sounds, everything happens for a reason. Be so proud of all that you have made happen under Julie’s leadership. Rest for a second and then get back to it. WE DID THAT! 🙌🏾 *drops mic* ✌🏾
