I love my skin, it's a representation of who I am and where I'm from. The birthplace of royal mothers makes me a royal class. It's in my DNA, the beauty runs down deep into my soul. My black is beautiful, I am a queen. I stand up for myself, my beliefs, and those I love with my head held high. My unapologetic and authentic self.

We know who we are and where we come from. We strut like the lions and lionesses of the plains and we keep focused on where we are going.

I didn't fully understand the HAUS OF YBA exhibit "Work In progress" (shown at THE BLACK GALA @theblkgala ) until I arrived to show it.
Moments when it feels less like I am designing and more like I am uncovering some elegant treasure that has already existed in the universe; these are the times that I feel like I am learning and growing the most. .
.
Do we ever really stop growing?.. do we want to? .
It has been close to 3 months that I have been here in West Africa.....
.
...God knew what she was doing! .
.
.
-Where are some places that you would like to visit and how do you think that they will impact your elevation? -What countries have you visited and how did they make you better?
