We are delighted to announce the nineteenth class of CCL Fellows! These twelve outstanding curators were selected based on their demonstrated innovative thinking, notable curatorial achievements, and shared commitment to creating a more dynamic, equitable, and inclusive museum field. The cohort reflects the diversity and expansiveness of curatorial practice today, representing a range of institutional contexts and expertise in artistic creativity across the globe.

The 2026 cohort will spend January through May learning with and from each other as they gain tools to support their growth into leadership positions in arts and cultural institutions.

ā€œMy curatorial practice is rooted in stewardship—of stories, objects, memory, and community. I believe exhibitions should be spaces of care, where Black histories and futures are preserved with intention and shared with purpose. I approach each project as an act of cultural responsibility, centering intergenerational voices and building systems that make space for collaboration, reflection, and imagination.ā€œ

This honor fills me with so much gratitude. For the past five years, I’ve poured my heart into celebrating Tom’s life and legacy, not just as an artist, but as a Baltimore treasure. To see the city embrace this vision and lift it up… I’m truly humbled.

Thank you to the Miller family, Afro Charities, our amazing collaborators, and every person who has shown up with love, laughter, and support. This recognition belongs to all of us!

From @afrocharities ’ Spring Fundraiser to dancing under the stars at Garden Rooftop—and of course, my annual birthday crab feast—it’s safe to say I kicked off 39 in style!

Thank you to everyone who poured into me with love, laughs, and good vibes all weekend long. I truly feel the love from my family, friends, colleagues, and community.

And yes, I had to include last year’s group pic (that IĀ forgotĀ to post!) when we recreated Tom Miller’sĀ Maryland Crab FeastĀ screenprint.

Here’s to 39 and fine—and making the most of my final lap in this age bracket!Ā
