🌸SENIOR SUNDAY🌸

Introducing Imani Odunez, a Biology major💖 During her time in AXO, she served as our Vice President of Recruitment!!

Let’s hear Imani’s Love letter to Alpha Chi Omega💌 “When I first came to UCR, I was honestly really nervous because everything felt so new and unfamiliar to me. I was scared about meeting people, finding where I fit in, and adjusting to college life overall. Looking back now, coming to UCR ended up being one of the best decisions I could have made for myself. Throughout my time here, I challenged myself both academically and socially, and I truly grew into a much more confident version of myself. Joining Alpha Chi Omega played a huge role in that growth because it introduced me to so many amazing people (like my entire fam) and experiences that helped shape my college journey. I loved being able to meet new people, make genuine friendships, and create memories that I know I will carry with me long after graduation.

Serving as Vice President of Recruitment was also one of the most exciting parts of my time in AXO. Some of the most meaningful relationships I built were with the girls I COB-ed and recruited into AXO because I saw so much of myself in them. I remembered what it felt like coming into college nervous and unsure of where I belonged, so it felt really special being able to introduce them to the same sense of comfort, belonging, and home that I found within the chapter. Getting to help girls feel welcomed and supported during the beginning of their college experience meant a lot to me, and seeing them find their place in AXO made the experience even more rewarding.”

Future Plans: “Now that I am graduating college, I plan to continue my education by going to graduate school and pursuing a career in healthcare while also taking time to travel, experience new things, and continue growing as a person.”

Thank you for all the love, time, and energy you’ve given to AXO over the years. We are so grateful for the example you’ve set and the memories you’ve helped create💕your legacy in this chapter will not be forgotten. ✨
