A little piece of Motown made its way to Martha’s Vineyard. 🌊✨

Grateful for the opportunity to step onto that stage with the Motown Hitsville Revue and bring this music to a whole new setting.

Some songs are timeless. Some moments remind you why you do this.

Our Hitsville NEXT artists had the honor of performing at the legendary @thefoxtheatredetroit this week for the @rainbowpush “Let Freedom Ring” celebration honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
During the event, founder of @motownmuseum Esther Gordy Edwards was awarded with the Humanitarian Award which chairwoman and CEO, Robin Terry accepted on her grandmother’s behalf.

Performing on a stage where so many Motown legends once performed was unforgettable and a reminder of the incredible legacy we’re proud to continue—Thanks to Mrs. Edward’s’ vision.

Also, having @judgegregmathis say he’s proud of you and signing your name on the walls of the Fox Theatre is pretty awesome!☺️

Recently, Hitsville NEXT artists performed at the iconic Roostertail as a part of a Motown Museum donor appreciation event. ⭐

Did you know that Motown's connection with this venue dates back to the 1960s?

🎶 The Supremes did a two-week run at the Roostertail in 1966.
🎶 Later that year, the club introduced "Motown Mondays" where a different Motown star took the stage each week for seven consecutive Mondays.
🎶 The Four Tops and The Temptations both released the live recordings of their Motown Monday show as albums.
🎶 The Miracles and The Supremes also went on to release albums recorded live at the Roostertail.
🎶 Other Motown acts who performed at the Roostertail include, Martha & The Vandellas, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and more.
