Bel Alarcón is a talented Spanish actor who seamlessly navigates between the vibrant artistic landscapes of Spain and Canada. Her passion for acting ignited at the tender age of six when she joined her school’s theatre club. This early enthusiasm led her to pursue formal training, culminating in a captivating debut as Ether in “The Creation Myth” during a showcase performance.
Bel further refined her craft at the prestigious Identity School of Acting, where she continues to expand her repertoire of skills, techniques, and accents. Over the years, she has captivated audiences with memorable performances, including her role as Harold Zilder in the acclaimed production of “Moulin Rouge” and as Luisa in “Four Hearts with Brake and Reverse.”
Her collaboration with the Oscar Martin Company proved fruitful, as they garnered two Buero National Awards for Young Theatre, underscoring her commitment to excellence in the performing arts. Most recently, Bel has taken on a leading role in a short film, showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.

Congratulations to all our Main Professional category winners and especially the 18 new Global Finalists.

There has been some amazing performers from this category this year. A comment from one of our judges regarding one of the shows says it all: "This category is the toughest one I've seen in all the time I've been judging. I literally have 7 actors tied for the top spot. I'm going to take some more time today. I can't even find the hair-thin differences. They all deserve to go through."

Whoop whoop!
