POV: You’re providing hands-on care to an apex predator.

Folks ask if this makes us nervous.
Fear’s not part of the job, respect is.
This is conservation done right, handed down through generations at Gatorama.

Folks been feedin’ gators on these banks a long time.
Long before AI ever came around.

What you’re seeing is real. Real keepers, real gators, real Florida. Doubt it? You’re welcome to come stand right here with us. 🐊

Well now… if this don’t put a little pep in your step 🐊

Back in these parts, lunch ain’t never just lunch. One minute Ben’s got dinner, the next minute Salty’s decided it’s cardio time. That’s a saltwater croc with an appetite and a keeper who knows when to hustle.

This is Florida and around these parts, the legends are real, and you don’t turn your back on nothin’ with teeth.

Stick around. It’s always feedin’ time somewhere.

There’s a reason we say fast hands or no hands. Rush it and you’ll learn.
Hesitate and you’ll learn faster.

The Everglades never forgets…
and neither do the crocs.

Didn’t figure he’d run the pond like he owned the place. Turns out he weren’t much for sharin’, not with anyone.

Ben stepped in anyway, calm as a heat-hazed afternoon in Florida.

Fun Fact Friday: Gators can run up to 20 mph… but only for short bursts. 🏃‍♂️💨
Would you ever try to race one? (Hint: don’t.)
Ben caught this video while working with one of our big guys!

What’s Up Palmdale?!
.
Guys, I’m a mommy! A mamacita! An alligator mommy!
.
Okay I’m not, but I pretended like I was one today at @gatoramafun for their Hatching festival and I’m kind of obsessed!
.
Growing up in SWFL Gators are like puppies around here and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t play with them when I was younger….. but I’ve never had the opportunity to HATCH ONE OUT OF AN EGG!
.
This is gonna be a yearly tradition now! I already can’t wait til next year!
.
Also I named this little sweetie Boots 😉
