📡Stopped by @nprillinois to talk about music and my life with @jeffnil8 for Community Voices! It’s called the Contemporary Art Center, btw. @cac.peoria I have been accidentally calling it the art institute since I was a kid. I know the name! Link in bio.

This is my Friyay post to celebrate all of you who’ve welcomed NERVOUS into the world. The babies, the lolas, the pooches and every other supportive being who doesn’t fit into those categories. It’s exactly a month since this cuspy virgo-leo book babe was born, and I’ve been amazed at not only how many of you have purchased or borrowed it from your libraries, but how many of you are *actually reading it right now* or have *actually finished reading it* as opposed to relegating it to the bottom of the TBR pile which I would 100% do and understand. Reader feedback means everything to me. So I’m sharing some of the feedback I’ve gotten, with the readers’ permission. It’s all I ever wanted fo have this book help people feel that they’re not alone, and help break silences within families and communities. And also apparently this book might ruin your day and keep you from going to the gym 🤷🏽‍♀️. (Image descriptions in the comments!)
