Anyone else still recovering from one of the best weekends of the year?

The energy was well and truly in the building with @monsterenergy as our presenting partner!

I first met @imchrisgreen at Mondial du Tatouage in Paris earlier this year. He was incredibly welcoming and kind from the very beginning, and since then, I’ve been following his work even more closely.

The way he works with color and builds his compositions always catches my attention. Chris is definitely an artist in every sense of the word, and his work genuinely inspires me.

Whenever I film an artist, I like to observe every detail. The way they move, the choices they make, their process and how they approach the piece. Understanding those details gives me a much stronger foundation to create something that actually represents their work through my own perspective.

I’d probably need two lifetimes to explore every detail in Chris’ work haha

It was a pleasure creating this one with you, Chris 🤍

Also thanks for @x_blackmagus_x helping me being an excellent model!

Had the privilege of hosting @imchrisgreen during his time in Toronto. Still in awe of the colour saturation on this Neo-Traditional tiger done in one session.

Hope to see you again soon!

Been pretty slack on posting recently, but here’s a little recap from Canada a couple weeks ago. 🇨🇦
Always a great time visiting our friends in the north.

Special thank you’s again to @richhandford and team for throwing another spectacular edition of the great @winnipegtattooconvention_ and for inviting me to do my first ever seminar with some of tattooing’s very best, means the world to me and it was a great time! I know I’ve already posted about the convention, but it really is always such a great show to attend.
To our booth buddies @lecastelmtl @imchrisgreen and @lukeaashley , absolutely love boothing with you all.

The whole crew at @burrow.yyc for making our Calgary guest spot so comfortable and welcoming! @waterstreetphantom @stuartteekasingh @jaybreentattooer @paintbynumber @silviieee thank you for all the dinners and showing us around! It was such a pleasure to work with you guys 💪🏻

Of course all my clients who got tattooed on the trip and travelled out, you guys are the greatest.

And lastly our dear friends @scragpie @thenthereshewas @mermaidsketches @rees_fortier_tattoos @conall.minter.tattoos for planning a super sick day trip through the mountains on our last day! It absolutely made the trip 🙌🏻

I’ll be back to Canada next year, so if you want to get tattooed feel free to reach out! 👋🏻 🇨🇦

I was enjoying my 100% track record of 0 awards and 0 competition entrees but my client Andre entered the snake and skull into ‘best of the day’ and we managed to win 1st place at the excellent @winnipegtattooconvention_ 🤍 🇨🇦

Grateful to @richhandford for having me and for introducing me to dice game ‘cee-lo’ which I still don’t fully understand but somehow also won about 200 big ones (slide 7).

Thank you to everybody who got tattooed, bought a print/tshirt or said hello.

It was a delight sharing a booth (and bedroom) with my number one travel bud @lukeaashley and watching him sleep through all of his alarms, mix up all of our underwear and share strange sugary toast at Denny’s together every morning.
Also wild to share a booth with our favourite Australians @jaketattoos & @haydenthompsontattoo and watch them complete a collaborative back piece over three days.
Great to booth share with the girls @mermaidsketches and @thenthereshewas too 🤍

All in all, a very nice time 🇨🇦

Next trip is @luganotattooroyale Switzerland 🇨🇭

Weekend recap 🫰🏼
So happy to have been part of this amazing event once again! Cheers to @richhandford and the entire team for making it so special!

Being able to bring together so many talented artists from all over the world in a small city like Winnipeg truly says it all. ✨

It really feels like one big family reunion every year. 🤍

Already looking forward to next year @winnipegtattooconvention_ 🥂

@imchrisgreen is in Winnipeg for the first time! Tattooing all weekend long and talking to @richhandford about what’s different about a Canadian convention.
