We did it! We have our first #1 song on the @imcountdown
So many people to thank for helping us achieve this milestone! Truly takes a village.
Thank you to my partner (in business, life and crime!) my husband Brent who produced this track at our studio @ukeesound , played bass, sang bg vocals, plus many hours working on the important but boring stuff behind the scenes
Our musicians:
Timmy Boom Bap on drums @mrboombap
Pete Chadwick on guitar @pete_chad
Jon Roper on guitar @jonnyroper
Brent Halfyard on guitar, bass and vocals @brenthalfyard
Our mixing engineer and mastering engineer Chris Potter
Our publicist: Eric Alper @thatericalper

And ESPECIALLY our family, friends, fans and those who took every chance they got to recruit new voters to help us get to NUMBER 1! On average, she jumped 5 spots a week and that all because of everyone who voted!

With so much turmoil in the world, music has the power to take you away, even just for the length of a song or album. So keep listening to music! Support REAL LIFE musicians! Go to LIVE shows! Music truly is medicine.

SOMEBODY PINCH ME!!! 🥹🏆🔥

My album BE HOTTER has officially passed screening and made it onto the ballot for the 69th Annual GRAMMY Awards!

✨ BEST POP VOCAL ALBUM ✨

This is NOT a nomination (yet 😉), but WOW… what a moment!

From a little Cree girl in Cumberland House with BIG dreams to seeing my name on a GRAMMY ballot! 🥹❤️

The little girl in me is SCREAMING, and the woman I’ve become is SO PROUD!

This is bigger than music. It’s about representation, resilience, and showing our little girls what’s possible.

Our ancestors dreamed of us being in rooms like these. 🪶

Whatever happens next, THIS is already a win!

IF IT’S IN YOUR MIND, IT CAN BE IN YOUR WORLD! 🌹🔥

It was tricky getting the video done,as we were so busy touring all summer. So we embraced the challenges and filmed in various locations, including
Tofino, B.C.,the bay in the main village of Wiikwemkoong, and in Kaboni on my property, and South bay mouth,Ontario.
