Moments like this is what it’s all about as a caterer. Fabulous clients, incredible wedding patisserie, and a long cake with its very own entrance music!

After bringing the whole wedding banquet to life, it’s those final moments together with my clients that make it all worthwhile.

Behind every beautiful wedding is a team of people who care deeply about making it extraordinary. I feel incredibly lucky to do what I do, and even luckier to work with such fabulous couples. #allcoupleswelcome❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 #longcake #behindthescenes #luxuryweddingfrance #weddingcakeinspiration

escaped to paradise for a week with 18 nutters who i love very much 🇬🇷💫 taught the 18 nutters farkle, discovered slick back curls, celebrated babi amy’s 30th, finished the book i’ve been lugging around for the past 3 months, was undefeated at snatch, not so undefeated at backgammon, all while mourning the end of summer, kk back to reality now x

From cherry tree to wedding table ❤️

A 1.2 metre-long vintage piped buttercream cake doesn’t just happen overnight…

Handcrafted pastillage hearts
Homemade meringues
Inspiration photo
Cherry jam made from fruit grown on our farm
Elderflower cordial made from hand-picked blossoms
Endless batches of buttercream
Careful stacking, smoothing, levelling and checking (and checking again!)
Hours of intricate vintage piping by hand

Then comes the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

The careful delivery.
The reveal.
The celebration of the cake arrival
The happy dance with the brides.
The smiles, the cheers, the photographs.

Every detail made with love, patience and a little bit of cake-fuelled determination.

Thank you for trusting me to be part of such a special day. Watching people gather around a cake that’s been created from so many handmade elements is always the greatest reward. 😍

Let them eat cake!

33C heat and a 1 meter long buttercream cake! Probably the most challenging cake of my career so far. But it was so worth the blood sweat and tears making a dream cake come true for my queen brides!

Listen to the roar of delight from the crowd! That is the best reward ever!
