Put on my Patagonia sweater with thumb holes on this morning and instantly missed feeling the warmth of the Hawaii sun. These were back in March but nothing gets you home sick like the fuckery socal has to offer. This short trip back home to Oahu and Kauai was bitter sweet. I had the gauntlet of questions of why tf would I move from such a beautiful place. Well ... I miss home every day!
My friends got married and got to reunited with old friends whose lives are flourishing in new ways! I took a friend to see my hometown on Kauai, where my mom just drove us random places to frolic and gather fruits and seaweed lol. I said goodbye to my childhood home where we had our names carved in the cement, and I know a new family is soon to make memories with our pet cemetery in the back of the home. I got to go to my old party stomping grounds where I felt so well taken care of. Hawaii's hospitality/culture is unmatched!
Oh, and I'm still rocking a flower on the right side if that answers your questions. 🌺🌺🌺

3•13•21 @mikey1027 and I tied the knot ♾ never did I imagine I’d be a wife nonetheless to the most amazing man I’ve been privileged to have crossed paths with. We met and shortly “knew” we were given this 2nd (or 3rd lol) opportunity at this thing called love. You have shown me sides of life I didn’t know existed. You’ve been my friend, confident, therapist, dance partner, lover and now husband. For you I’m grateful. For loving me, respecting me, acknowledging me, giving me my place, adoring Niccolo, and choosing me for Angie. This weekend was a fairytale dream. Everything went perfect. If there was any hiccups we never found out bc our amazing coordinator @monime_alvarez is that good! Literally felt like a mermaid beach princess. We had a traditional #mayanceremony on Friday followed by our symbolic catholic wedding on Saturday. Thank you to my family and friends that made the effort to come to Mexico and watch me tie the knot. You guys are the real MVP. To all who watched our ceremony I read all your messages!
