Saturdays have been busy @blackflycrossfitmqt this summer! Thanks a ton to our BlackFly kiddos for helping at our aid station this past weekend for the @queen_city_half ! They certainly kept spirits high ☺️
.
Pair that with a full birthday WOD for Tessa, a fun snatch oly lifting class with Chris, and a energy filled kids class and we’re still recovering from all the excitement 🥴
.
Catch us @mqtfarmersmarket this weekend! Don’t hesitate to stop by and send your interested friends our way. We will be happy to answer any and all of their questions!

Mid week motivation.
•
I took a back seat in working out the last couple years. I let auto immune issues get the best of me. Getting my body to move everyday was/is a battle.
•
I was becoming content with losing mobility & endurance. Cracking jokes about old age to cope. Pretty much threw in the towel before my 30s, well I’m taking that towel back & it has been the best decision I’ve ever made.
•
The first 3 weeks of moving my dormant “muscles” was literal hell. I felt like I got hit by a bus… I know it takes some grit to get back into fitness & undo the damage neglect does to your body. But dang, it hurt.
•
BUT, a couple weeks ago I woke up with NO PAIN. I’ve been experiencing chronic fatigue & pain for years, and to wake up feeling refreshed for once was incredible. After only about 2 months of moving my body again!
•
I’m so excited to see how this benefits how I feel after a long day of shooting a wedding!
•
@blackflycrossfitmqt has amazing coaches who understand all levels of fitness. If you’re local to Marquette, I definitely recommend doing yourself a favor & stopping in!
