If you never ask, the answer is already no.
So why’re you so scared of asking and maybe hearing yes?

I used to think I needed more motivation. I’m starting to realize determination might be the better word.

Motivation feels great when it’s there, but it comes and goes. Some days I feel ready to take on everything. Other days, just getting started is the hardest part. Determination is what keeps me showing up on both kinds of days.

I’m also learning that not every step has to be a big one. I’m going to make mistakes. I’m going to have days where I don’t get as far as I wanted. That doesn’t mean I’m failing or going backward.

I don’t need to do everything perfectly. I just need to keep learning, keep showing up, and keep making progress.

Progress over perfection.
