Hoped it would be you all along 🥺❤️‍🩹 Sometimes, heels is so much more than dancing 🤍 Sometimes, it’s the one place where you can let go of everything you’ve been carrying. Where you don’t have to have it all figured out, pretend you’re okay, or be strong for everyone else. You just get to feel. And sometimes, the feelings come out in ways you didn’t even know you needed. This dance was one of those moments for us. Somewhere between the music, the movement, and being there for each other, everything we had been holding in came to the surface. And at the end, all we could do was hold each other and cry. I think that’s one of the most beautiful things about dance. You don’t always have to find the words for what you’re going through. Sometimes, you can just move through it. You can turn the heaviness into something beautiful, even if only for a few minutes. Whatever it is, let yourself feel it all. You don’t always have to be strong. You’re allowed to fall apart a little, too. Sometimes, healing doesn’t look like having everything together.
