Sometimes you just have to go for it. I spent three decades playing other people's parties before I finally decided to get over my fear of failure and turn my idea into a reality. As it turns out, people genuinely connected with it: a party celebrating all the incredible music and nightlife culture of NYC in the 90's. Now, @unspeakablejoynyc is turning one and I'd love to invite you to our anniversary event happening Saturday 10/24 from 4-10p at @3dollarbillbk ... the dancefloor is going to be 🔥 and you should be on it. 🎟️🔗 in bio. 2027 tour date announcement coming soon.

A year ago, I *very nervously* launched Unspeakable Joy, praying my worst fear of throwing my own party and nobody showing up would not come true. Never could I have imagined in such a short amount of time the way this party has resonated in such an authentic way with so many of you. Producing Unspeakable Joy has fundamentally changed the entire trajectory of my career and how I view DJ'ing. Thank you to everyone who continues to pack the dancefloor at every event, and for your loving and encouraging messages of appreciation. I hope you'll join me as we celebrate one year of ONLY the finest house music classics in NYC 🗽👠🪩

♦️ Tonight we go underground ♦️

Short King: Underground is back at The Cockpit tonight for another night of low ceilings, dark corners, rolling bass, and short kings getting closely acquainted.

@djautogyro + @ipok.nyc take the booth through dark rolling house, deep hypnotic techno, and euphoric late-night pressure.

And when the clock hits midnight, we’re celebrating Macho’s birthday 🎂😈

Hosted by @immachojob
with go-gos @definitelythatjason + @kazimir.skye

♦️ Clothes check available
♦️ Gear encouraged
♦️ Short kings + admirers welcome
♦️ Getting on someone’s level strongly encouraged

Tonight | 11pm–late
🎟️ Advance tickets at redeyetickets.com or $25 at the door
@thecockpitnyc at @redeye_ny

♦️ Come a little closer. Go a little deeper. ♦️
