…but God 🤲🏼

Since the very first @immerseconf at the @thewoodschurch, God has moved in my heart in such incredible ways. It’s also been a gift to watch my Mom serve on the leadership team each year, and little did I know just how much Immerse would keep impacting my life year over year too, especially these last two years.

Last October when I officially moved back to Michigan, I attended the Immerse Conference barely hanging on, in desperate need of rest and re-prioritization in my life. Now a year later, I had the privilege of joining the leadership team myself (following in my Momma’s footsteps!) alongside some of the most amazing women I’ve ever met.

When Pastor Nikki (also my former volleyball coach, ok God!!!) invited me to join, I honestly thought, “why me?” My head went to questioning “can I really do this” and wondering if all the mistakes I’ve made meant my “story” would be “too much” or “too broken” to encourage others in Christ.

And if I’m still being honest, I had to wrestle with God many times this over last year due to often not feeling worthy of where He was calling me…

And the truth is, I’m not worthy.

But He is.

And His call on my life is. I’m His daughter made in His image, with a unique, intentional purpose over my story - He continues to turn all my trials into testimonies. And if you didn’t know, He has a purpose over your life and story too!

We were never made to walk this life alone in our own strength caught in the flurry of this chaotic world. We are called to walk in obedience with Him, and to trust the ultimate plan He has for us. And let me tell you, it’s always greater!!! I’m living proof of that already.

Your story has a purpose… just trust God be your author.

So thank you Lord for such a beautiful Immerse Conference again this year, thank you for the opportunity to serve, thank you for the ways you moved in my community there, and thank you for being the ultimate author of my story.

And also, empowered women, empower women. What a blessing to be surrounded by women at a conference like this. Now let’s stay IMMERSED into this next year! 🩷 Mom and daughter taking picture at immerse women’s conference at The Woods Church in Warren, Michigan, Metro Detroit area

Letting it go. Giving it to God. Letting our testimony speak LOUD. He is so good, so faithful, and over 700 ladies experienced the living God this weekend. Immersed in His presence, we are SO thankful!

We are ALL called to be a witness. To testify of His goodness, His faithfulness, who He is. That’s what He created us to be!

This weekend at the Immerse Conference, it felt like every single speaker was talking directly to me.

The past few years have been some of the hardest I’ve ever walked through, full of fires and storms. But this weekend reminded me that God has been with me through every single one.

Joyelle Lee spoke about Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. How they survived the fire because God was walking with them. And Dr. Crystal Mitchell Reid reminded us that if your story feels unfinished, God isn’t done yet. He holds the pen, and the binding of your book is already secure. You can tear pages or scribble over the words, but your story is still held together by Him.

We also talked about the power of our testimony and Jen Smale spoke on the importance of sharing it because someone else might need the hope your story carries.

In the first session, we were given white rocks and told to write the “new name” God has spoken over us. Without hesitation, I wrote FAITH. Because that’s what this season is about for me. Choosing faith, even through the fire.

Thank you @nikkicat1 and the whole conference team for such a powerful and life giving weekend!

I left feeling so seen, encouraged, and reminded that God’s not finished yet ❤️🔥

Immerse 2024 women’s conference was incredible!

I can’t believe I get to partner with God and witness people experience the freedom of forgiveness, be healed of trauma, and be restored.

Only God could take me from being a victim of SA and turn me into a victor.

I’ll forever help others become victors, too!

Another Immerse @immerseconf Conference is in the books. I am in awe again at the powerful corporate worship expression I see when the women of God gather together and worship. It is profound.

I am grateful for my dear friends @nikkicat1 and @jensmale. What a gift it is to do life and ministry together even though most of the time geography gets in the way. 💕💕💕

What an honor to lead worship with this fiery team! Thank you for pouring our this weekend @brittyn_brandon @jennyrohrer @bellaaa.joy @jrezeugwu @spencerwbrandon
