Excited to share this short 7-min tour of my studio and the tools I use to craft bespoke scores for films, video games & production music.

Plucked instruments, analog synths, sample libraries and a workflow shaped by making my first feature film score (PSYCHE), co-scoring my first AAA video game (Immortals of Aveum) and working with @audioimperia & @verdauntmx

Watch the studio tour on my YouTube channel (link in bio).

That's two things wrapped up!

Immortals of Aveum sat in my backlog for quite a while, and I think it just wasn't the right time to get into the game. When I started it again though, I started to notice a lot of similarities to the book I was reading, Powerless, with the way powers work and how people without magic or inherit it in a certain way are treated.

Powerless I really enjoyed, and I very much like the fact I didn't expect it to end the way it did. It's been a long time since I last enjoyed reading, but so far this year I've read the Empyrean series, a few Cassandra Khaw and T Kingfisher books, and now I'm on the Powerless series. Next up is Powerful!

SPOILER WARNING! This is an animatic I had the privilege of making for part of the climax of Immortals of Aveum during my time at @ascendant_studios. I believe I ended up helping with mocap assembly for this shot as well. It’s about time I shared some of my work!

I’m still grateful for these people for giving me a chance to prove what I can do, and the guidance to land me where I am now.

Voice talents:
Luna: @yvonnesenat
Jak: @darrenbarnet
Sandrakk @stevenbrandofficial

You all knocked it out of the park and gave us such great takes to work with! Thank you!

I rarely finish games because I get distracted easily, but this one was fantastic and a great play for Spring Break! ☀️ 😎 Highly recommend! It’s on GamePass. #livinwiththelattimers
