Yesterday was something truly special🩷

I left feeling so full of love and appreciation for everyone who showed up. Whether it was your first time trying Pilates, you came by yourself, or simply came ready to spend a couple hours doing something for yourself.

The energy in the room was truly beautiful. So much laughter, encouragement, creativity, connection, and so many genuinely amazing souls.

From Pilates to cheering with matcha and creating journals together, it was exactly the kind of space I hoped this event would be.

A special thank you to @thematchaspotnj for bringing the best matcha experience to the event, and to all of the amazing brands who contributed to the goodie bags and helped make the day even more special🦋

Thank you to everyone who trusted me with your Saturday morning and helped make the first Move, Create & Connect so special.

I’m so excited to keep creating spaces like this through Purely Pilates🫶🏼

🗣️CALLING ALL INTROVERTS
I know you love your at home YouTube workouts (and there’s nothing wrong with that) 😉 but you’re not getting the full benefit of Pilates if you never go to an in person class

Here’s why:

💕 Professional instructor: having a professional instructor will ensure that you’re getting the full benefits of every move and will help you avoid injuring yourself

💕Being in a room working out with other people can help you feel more motivated. You’re all working towards the common goals of fitness and surviving a butt kicking workout 😆

💕It’s easier to improve over time. When you have a good instructor and you meet people you can go to classes with (aka accountability partners) it will help you remain consistent 💪🏾

It’s always better and more effective to do things in a supportive community rather than in isolation 🤗 and if you’re worried about the cost, look up free or donation based classes!

Somewhere along the way we lost a sense of community and we need that back. I think its the beginning of something better thanks to all those who contributed to this wellness day 💙
