At Smoke Smash's live counter, food gets the spotlight. We just gave it a pretty good backdrop. πŸ”₯ We had the wavy terracotta tiles, the checkerboard details, the copper lights, the little jungle growing overhead and four signature menu boards that deserve a closer look. We wanted this bit of the restaurant to have its own personality, without stealing the show from what’s actually being made behind it. Although, with 14 hour smoked brisket on the menu, that's a pretty tough competition πŸ˜‚ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : π’πŒπŽπŠπ„ π’πŒπ€π’π‡ || π‚πŽπˆπŒππ€π“πŽπ‘π„Β  πƒπžπ¬π’π π§ : π€ππ‡πˆππ€π˜π€ || π€π‹π…πˆπ˜π€ || ππ‘π„π„π“π‡πˆπ’π‡π€Β  𝐏𝐦𝐜 : πŽππ„ π‘πŽπŽπ… 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 : 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐁 π…πŽπŽπƒ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππ˜Β  𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 : π•π„ππŠπ€π“ ππ€π‹π€π‰πˆ || π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐒𝐧𝐠 : 𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐄𝐒𝐄 πƒπ„π’πˆπ†ππ’ @abhinayaaa @preethiiiiiii.__ @alfiya_zesima @one_roof_pmc @grubfoodcompany @yeshvinmathew @jeyanthpranav_ @sathish_kumar_sp @mani__vannan_ @smokesmash.in @pinkcheesedesigns #Coimbatore #SmokeSmash #smashburger #RestaurantDesign #coimbatorediaries @cafes.of.coimbatore @weluvcoimbatore @so_coimbatore

Our mascot needed a wall to climb. So, we gave him one.πŸ’ One of the biggest visual moments at Smoke Smash is also one that was made entirely by hand. This mural was hand painted by @arta_saram , right here in the restaurant. And the details are 🫢🏽 The burger, the expressions, the flames, the linework and all the little things you only start noticing when you spend a little time looking at it. We wanted the mascot to feel larger than life, a little ridiculous and very much at home in Smoke Smash. And if you swipe ⬅️ till the end, you’ll meet the two solid ladies who carried this project from the very first idea to the very last detail. And obviously, we had to get a portrait with the mascot too. Priorities. 🦍🧑 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : π’πŒπŽπŠπ„ π’πŒπ€π’π‡ || π‚πŽπˆπŒππ€π“πŽπ‘π„Β  πƒπžπ¬π’π π§ : π€ππ‡πˆππ€π˜π€ || π€π‹π…πˆπ˜π€ || ππ‘π„π„π“π‡πˆπ’π‡π€Β  𝐏𝐦𝐜 : πŽππ„ π‘πŽπŽπ… 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 : 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐁 π…πŽπŽπƒ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππ˜Β  𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 : π•π„ππŠπ€π“ ππ€π‹π€π‰πˆ || π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ @abhinayaaa @preethiiiiiii.__ @alfiya_zesima @one_roof_pmc @grubfoodcompany @yeshvinmathew @jeyanthpranav_ @sathish_kumar_sp @mani__vannan_ @theshutterbook @immutableground @smokesmash.in #Coimbatore #SmokeSmash #smashburger #RestaurantDesign #coimbatorediaries @cafes.of.coimbatore @weluvcoimbatore @so_coimbatore

Some spaces need art. This one needed characters. So we gave @smokesmash.in a few of its own πŸ™ŒπŸΎ Meet the unofficial cast of Smoke Smash. A little old school glamour, a little mischief, and just the right amount of weirdness. They watch over the burgers, the conversations and everything in between. And honestly, we think they fit right in 🧑 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : π’πŒπŽπŠπ„ π’πŒπ€π’π‡ || π‚πŽπˆπŒππ€π“πŽπ‘π„ πƒπžπ¬π’π π§ : π€ππ‡πˆππ€π˜π€ || π€π‹π…πˆπ˜π€ || ππ‘π„π„π“π‡πˆπ’π‡π€ 𝐏𝐦𝐜 : πŽππ„ π‘πŽπŽπ… 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 : 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐁 π…πŽπŽπƒ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππ˜ 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 : π•π„ππŠπ€π“ ππ€π‹π€π‰πˆ || π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ @abhinayaaa @preethiiiiiii.__ @alfiya_zesima @one_roof_pmc @grubfoodcompany @yeshvinmathew @jeyanthpranav_ @sathish_kumar_sp @mani__vannan_ @theshutterbook @immutableground @smokesmash.in #Coimbatore #SmokeSmash #smashburger #RestaurantDesign #coimbatorediaries @cafes.of.coimbatore @weluvcoimbatore @so_coimbatore

We wanted you to feel something the moment you walked into Smoke Smash ✨️ A little curious. A little nostalgic. Like you’d walked into somewhere that felt familiar, but you couldn’t quite place why. We wanted the space to feel playful without feeling chaotic, and nostalgic without turning into a recreation of something from the past. The outdoor area sets the tone for that. Somewhere to linger, look around, and hopefully notice something new every time you come back. This space went from servicing two wheelers to serving smash burgers ✨️ (Swipe ⬅️) 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : π’πŒπŽπŠπ„ π’πŒπ€π’π‡ || π‚πŽπˆπŒππ€π“πŽπ‘π„ πƒπžπ¬π’π π§ : π€ππ‡πˆππ€π˜π€ || π€π‹π…πˆπ˜π€ || ππ‘π„π„π“π‡πˆπ’π‡π€ 𝐏𝐦𝐜 : πŽππ„ π‘πŽπŽπ… 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 : 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐁 π…πŽπŽπƒ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππ˜ 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 : π•π„ππŠπ€π“ ππ€π‹π€π‰πˆ || π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ @abhinayaaa @preethiiiiiii.__ @alfiya_zesima @one_roof_pmc @grubfoodcompany @yeshvinmathew @jeyanthpranav_ @sathish_kumar_sp @mani__vannan_ @theshutterbook @immutableground @smokesmash.in #Coimbatore #SmokeSmash #smashburger #RestaurantDesign #InteriorDesign @cafes.of.coimbatore @weluvcoimbatore @so_coimbatore

This started out as a Yamaha service shed (Swipe ⬅️) Not exactly the most glamorous shell to begin with. Then came the colour, curves, checkerboards, copper, timber, terracotta, plants and a slightly unreasonable number of conversations about burgers πŸ˜‚ And somewhere in between, it became @smokesmash.in ✨️ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 : π’πŒπŽπŠπ„ π’πŒπ€π’π‡ || π‚πŽπˆπŒππ€π“πŽπ‘π„ πƒπžπ¬π’π π§ : π€ππ‡πˆππ€π˜π€ || π€π‹π…πˆπ˜π€ || ππ‘π„π„π“π‡πˆπ’π‡π€ 𝐏𝐦𝐜 : πŽππ„ π‘πŽπŽπ… 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 : 𝐆𝐑𝐔𝐁 π…πŽπŽπƒ π‚πŽπŒππ€ππ˜ 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬 : π•π„ππŠπ€π“ ππ€π‹π€π‰πˆ || π…π„π‘ππ€ππƒπŽ @abhinayaaa @preethiiiiiii.__ @alfiya_zesima @one_roof_pmc @grubfoodcompany @yeshvinmathew @jeyanthpranav_ @sathish_kumar_sp @mani__vannan_ @theshutterbook @immutableground #Coimbatore #SmokeSmash #smashburger #hospitalitydesign #coimbatorefoodie @cafes.of.coimbatore @weluvcoimbatore @so_coimbatore
