💕 My heart is SO full thanks to the sweetest @chickadvisor x @thisisbutterly 20th bday party! 💖 I often call myself a retired beauty blogger, although I’ve never loved beauty more than right now. 🛍️ I’m so grateful for all the AMAZE products I’ve received through the gorgeous #ChickAdvisor program since 2012, as they played such an integral role in my life as a communicator, online creator and now advertising professional. 👩🏼‍💻 Cheers to the lifelong friends I’ve made thanks to the Canadian blogger community, and double cheers to @alidebold and her Canadian team we love at Butterly 🤗 what a joy and honour to be included in this celebration. When the plans make it out of the chat! 🤩 We’ve been trying to get together in-person for a year now. Between work, traveling, and our very busy lives, our schedules never seemed to align. But this weekend, we finally made it happen, and it was absolutely worth the wait. Swipe to see all that we did and read more about it on our blogs! Jess - jessbeyondthepages.com/blog Mel - TBD #TorontoAdventures #RomanceReaders #ExploreToronto #BookLover #TorontoLocal Reader Life | Bookstores | Book Crawl | Brunch | Reading Community | Day Trip | Local Gems | Exploring the City | Summer Adventures Our first stop was brunch at Sisters & Co (@sistersandco_restaurant) 📍 887 Dundas St W, Toronto, ON M6J 1V9 Mel’s Order: 😋 Char Siu Benedict - pulled char siu pork, caramelized onions, two poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and parsley on an English muffin, served with home fries and a fresh salad. Jess’ Order: 😋 Spicy Oxtail Stew - a slow-cooked bone-in oxtail and beef rib stew with onions, carrots, celery, mozzarella, a sunny-side-up egg, cilantro, and buttered sourdough toast. Next, we made our way to Book Bar (@bookbarto)🍹 📍 600 Markham St., Toronto, ON M6G 2L8 This was Jess’ second visit to the bookstore/bar after attending the preview night before it officially opened. For Mel, though, it was her very first visit, so it was fun experiencing the space through fresh eyes and seeing it during regular operating hours! What’s your drink + book pairing? Here’s our! Happy New Year 🥂 Looking back on 2024, it’s been a year full of growth, opportunities, and unforgettable memories. ✨Authors✨ I met so many amazing authors. From book events to a writers retreat and even worked with some talented people. I can’t wait to grow my PA business in 2025 and connect with more authors! And who knows, maybe I’ll put more time into my own writing 😆 ✨Acknowledgments✨ Diving further into the world of publishing, participating in Alpha, Beta, and ARC readings, and being able to work closely with authors has been a dream. I’m forever grateful for the connections I’ve made and for earning a spot at the back of books I’ve helped with! ✨Friends and Family✨ I’m thankful for the friends I’ve made, met, and kept in touch with. I’m also grateful for the memories I’ve created with my friends and family, and cheers to many more. ✨Education✨ I completed my Master’s in Professional Communication and @royalroadsu provided me with so many professional and personal opportunities. I became a Teaching Assistant for the first time, was featured in the school’s Student Spotlight, and graduated with straight A’s! I’m excited to put this degree to work and continue to advance my career 🥰 Here’s to 2025! 🥂 🏷️ #NewYear #HappyNewYear #WrapUp #jessbeyondthepages #smileyrue #Memories #Cheersto2025 #FavouriteAuthors #BetaReader #AlphaReader #LiteraryManagementServices #AuthorServices #HarperCollins #FrenzyFaves #Bookstagram #BookTok #BookishMemories #PAServices #AuthorPA

Out of Office: I Hope This Finds You Well & Never Been Better at Queen Books I partnered with Leanne Toshiko Simpson to host a book talk with Natalie Sue at Queen Books and had an incredible time helping out as a content developer and event coordinator. The night was filled with incredible conversations about Natalie and Leanne’s publishing journey, a reading from each author, a fun raffle, a delicious drink, and iconic cake. After the event, my family and I had Thai food 😋 I had a great time helping out, listening to Natalie and Leanne talk about their author journey, and seeing familiar faces join us for the evening 🥰 Congratulations again on both of your releases, Natalie and Leanne! I’m so proud of you and cannot wait to see what’s next for you two! I had an amazing time partnering with you, Leanne, and I look forward to working with you again in the future! 💜 For anyone in need of an event coordinator or other author services - let’s connect! DM me, email me, or visit my website (🔗 in bïø)! Q: Have you gone to any book events recently? Are there any coming up that you’re planning to attend? P.S. Will, if you’re out there, I have a slice of cake for you 😂🥰 🏷️ #ihopethisfindsyouwell #neverbeenbetter #leannetoshikosimpson #nataliesue #harpercollins #harpercollinsca #booklaunch #frenzyfaves #queenbooksto #queenbooks #booktok #bookevent #booklaunchevent #authorsigning #mentalhealthawareness #eventcoordinator #authorservices #jessbeyondthepages
